Lil Wayne was filmed appearing to be treading on the American flag repeatedly this weekend, with the rapper filming scenes for his anti-establishment track 'God Bless Amerika.' The footage was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday (June 16) and shows Wayne rapping in front of an American flag which is then dropped to his feet, with the rapper continuing to go about his business and repeatedly walk over the flag for the rest of the video shoot.

Weezy and his people haven't commented on the scenario yet, and currently we're not sure if his move was done in ill-taste or this was just an ill-timed shot of the rapper. The lyrics fr the song go something like this: ""My country 'tis of thee / Sweet land of kill 'em all and let 'em die / God bless Amerika / This ole' godless Amerika," it's hard to defend the rapper's actions as being unintentional and this could land the New Orleans-native in some trouble.

The head of Young Money - whose most recent signing was none other than Paris Hilton - has neen finding himself in trouble in some capacity more and more recently and after death-scares and seizures strikes mixed with a number of run-ins with the police, we have to ask, what's the deal with Lil Wayne? Slow down man or you might live to regret it.

In music (well, whatever you call Wayne's brand of rap) terms, Wayne released I Am Not a Human Being II back in March this year and he is currently working on a collaborative album entitled I Can't Feel My Face with Harlem-based rapper Juelz Santana, as well as a collaborative album with fellow YMCM MC Drake. He also has a number of tour dates to perform until the end of 2013.
