Rapper Lil Kim is in a dispute with nightclub bosses for allegedly failing to turn up to a meet-and-greet.

The hip-hop star performed at The Manor venue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday (04Oct14) but angered officials when she missed a scheduled fan-meeting session before the gig.

According to a contract obtained by Tmz.com, the rapper had agreed to mingle with up to 100 paying fans before a 20-minute performance to celebrate the club's fifth anniversary.

Bosses at The Manor allege they are now forced to give refunds to those who had paid an extra $65 (£40) to meet the star.

Lil Kim claims she did not know about the event, writing on Twitter.com, "Fort Lauderdale. I love y'all so much. S**t was Lit 2night (sic)!!! Please get ur $$$ (money) back from the club. I never knew about a meet n greet (sic)."

Howard King, an attorney for the club, tells Tmz.com he plans to sue the rapper, who was paid $23,000 (£14,400) for the night.
