Kristen Stewart may have apologised to her boyfriend Robert Pattinson over her affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders but she doesn't appear to have extended any public apology directly to Rupert's wife, Liberty Ross who is still very much married to Rupert Sanders. And still very much the mother of her two children.
Kristen's emotional public apology was coerced out of her, when photographic evidence of her making out with Sanders emerged online and left her with no choice but to confess to the fling. There's no question that this will be a devastating blow for Liberty Ross. It's made all the worse, however, for the fact that Liberty also starred in Snow White and the Huntsman, playing Queen Eleanor, the mother of Kristen's character. Ross is a British actress and was formerly a model. Her brother Atticus Ross is an Academy Award-winning composer. To discover that your husband has been unfaithful is bad enough. To discover that it happened right under your nose must be truly awful.
Stewart's apology does address the fact that other people have been affected by her infidelity but makes no personal mention of Liberty. In an attempt to salvage her relationship with R-Pazt, though, she makes sure that he gets a special mention in her plea for forgiveness: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
