After the glitzy prizegiving in London on Tuesday night (08Sep15), a number of attendees went back to the home of public relations guru Matthew Freud for a lavish post-show bash.

However, Freud's neighbours were not happy with the sound from the raucous party, and police officers were called out to investigate in the early hours of Wednesday morning (09Sep15).

A police spokesperson has confirmed officers attended the house at around 4am to investigate "excessive noise coming from a party," but added, "No offences were alleged; no offences were committed."

The news comes a year after cops were called to Freud's 2014 GQ Awards afterparty to investigate noise complaints. He later apologised to his neighbours in a letter and handed out bottles of wine to say sorry.
