The Formula One champion was spotted numerous times at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month and now says he's eager to ''collaborate'' with budding British designers.
Asked if he'd like to start a label, Lewis told The Sun newspaper: ''I would love that. I'm fascinated by it. I love seeing new styles and creations.
''I hope I will be able to collaborate with someone, maybe these great, up-and-coming British designers.''
The 30-year-old star has become a staple on the front row at fashion shows around the world while not on the racing track and had a particularly great time this year when he met Chanel designer Karl Lagerfield.

''I spent the next few days taking in a few of the top shows such as Valentino and the Chanel show, which was just unbelievable - I got to meet Karl Lagerfeld, who is 'The Man' when it comes to fashion. He was a really nice guy.''
