The cast of 'The Great Gatsby' discussed their thoughts on the book-to-film adaptation of 'The Great Gatsby'. Among them were director Baz Luhrmann and stars Tobey Maguire, Isla Fisher, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton and Leonardo Dicaprio.

Baz talks about the relevance of the book in modern times saying, 'That book reflects who we are, where we are now.' Tobey gushes about how he loves working with Baz. 'I think of him as a great host', he says. 'He wants you to have a really good time.' Leonardo refers to the book as 'the seminal American novel' - 'It defines America in the 1920s, it predicted the stock market crash that soon came after. At the centre figure is this very complex, mysterious, existential character known as the Great Gatsby', he explains.
