Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke aren't just funny when they appear on Girls it seems, as the HBO stars have shown with her Instagram-made take on the music video for Miley Cyrus' new single 'We Can't Stop.' Dunham updated her Instagram feed on Friday (June 28) to give her take on Cyrus' party tune and since then it has become an internet sensation.

Dunham clearly enjoyed filming the 15-sec clip

The two Girls stars appear in the fifteen second clip with Dunham pretending to paddle Kirkes behind with a wooden spoon while Kirke sings the chorus from Miley's coming of age single. Unable to contain herself for much longer, Dunham collapses into a fit of laughter before posing next to Kirke and asking "Did it turn out good?"

The controversial video by the former Disney star has caused quite a stir since it was premiered earlier this month, and shows Miley in all manner of provokative poses as she sings about partying and loving life now that she is a 20-year-old. The singer flaunts her newfound 'sexy' style throughout the video, which really was tailor made for parodying, for the single taken from her her upcoming fourth studio album.
