Laverne Cox ''literally fell to the floor'' when she opened a Christmas card from Beyonce.
The 30-year-old actress has taken to her Instagram account to admit she was overcome with joy when she received her card from the 'Drunk In Love' hitmaker.
Laverne said: ''So when I opened this holiday card a few days ago and read Love @beyonce I literally fell to the floor. I was on the floor of my apartment. I have witnesses.''
In addition to the card, Beyonce also posted a jumper which referenced lyrics from her hit tune 'Partition', in which she boasts of having ''cake by the pound''.
The 'Orange is the New Black' actress said: ''Love the #CakeByThePound sweatshirt. Thanks Bey for the gift. I have had an awesome year and this is certainly a highlight.
''Happy holidays Mrs Carter to you and your beautiful family. Thanks for all the amazing music and endless inspiration you've given to me and so many over the past 16 years. Since 'No No No' I have been saying YASSS YASSS YASSS! #QueenBey forever. (sic)''
The singer signed her card saying: ''Happy holidays, love Beyonce.''
