Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino wants to out it "out to the universe"
After a decade long wait for fans, the fast-talking twosome from Stars Hollow returned over this weekend for a binge-watchable mini-series on Netflix: A Year In The Life. The four seasonal episodes promised to be jam-packed full of all things Gilmore that every fan loved with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino back at the helm.

And while the first question for every true fan was when can I block off a whole day/evening to binge-watch the episodes, it’s now more than likely that people will ask: what about some more?
It seems that Sherman-Palladino could be throwing it out to the fans themselves to determine whether Lorelei and Rory ever grace our screens with their stories again.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter about this much-anticipated revival, she said: "We really had a very specific journey in our minds and we fulfilled the journey.
"So to us this is the piece that we wanted to do.
"And the whole thought about is there more, is there more, is there more - this has to go out to the universe now.
"We’ve got to put this to bed. And then whatever happens, happens."

Scott Paterson, who plays Luke Danes, spoke out a few months ago to reveal how keen he was to see the rival extended.
He said: "It’s be nice to do it every year. Maybe every two years, do a three-month thing, do four more chapters.
"It was easy to do - it was fun. It was really rewarding and people got a sense that if this was going to be the last thing that we now have some closure."
