Actress Laura Dern has pushed forward with her divorce from singer Ben Harper, despite recent attempts to reconcile.
The Jurassic Park star, 45, reconnected with Harper earlier this year (12) after the Burn One Down hitmaker filed for divorce in 2010, but the reunion didn't last, with multiple gossips reporting the pair - parents to Ellery, 10, and Jaya, seven - split last month (Jun12).
And on Friday (06Jul12) Dern filed new legal papers at the Los Angeles County Superior Court in response to Harper's divorce petition, requesting joint legal and primary physical custody of their two kids.
According to Tmz.com, she is also seeking spousal and child support, as well as the cost of her attorney fees.
The couple wed in 2005.
