After Melania's speech on cyber-bullying last week, Gaga said that her marriage to husband Donald Trump made her stance hypocritical.
Lady GaGa has taken to social media to denounce Donald Trump’s wife Melania for her “hypocrisy” over her anti-bullying stance – describing her husband as one of the “most notorious bullies” around.
46 year old Melania, a Slovenian-American former model who has been married to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for 11 years, has stayed comparatively quiet on the campaign trail amid her husband’s controversial campaign – particularly since her partially-plagiarised speech in July that many pointed out was virtually identical to Michelle Obama’s in 2008.

However, she gave a speech last Thursday (November 3rd) promising to fight cyber-bullying if she becomes First Lady. Pop star Gaga, who has been a passionate advocate for the same subject throughout her career, subsequently took to Twitter to criticise her a few days later.
“@MELANIATRUMP to say u will stand for ‘anti-bullying’ is hypocrisy,” Gaga tweeted on Sunday night. “Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed.”

30 year old Gaga has been strongly pitching for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in recent weeks, changing her social media avatars to pictures of her wearing a big hat with a ‘VOTE’ button on it and encouraging her Little Monsters to get out and cast their votes on Tuesday (November 8th), in a race that’s extremely close to call.

Meanwhile, Hillary’s daughter Chelsea echoed Gaga’s sentiments over the weekend as she appeared on Extra TV to describe Melania’s stance as “a little ironic”.
The 36 year old said: “I do think we all need to pay attention to what some call 'the Trump effect,' the rise of bullying that is haunting middle school hallways, but also what’s happening in high schools and elementary schools… We absolutely have to pay attention.”
