The singer is well and truly back and ahead of her iTunes Festival performance she had yet another new piece of material to show off
With her full return to music imminent, Lady GaGa has given us all another reason to get excited about her third coming by premiering the first bit of footage for yet another new song, 'Swine.' The porky number hasn't been revealed in full yet, but from the looks of a recently uploaded YouTube video, the song will be performed when she take to the stage at London's iTunes Festival next month.
The singer has been in London for the past few days getting ready for the show
Gaga will kick off the month-long festival on Sunday, 1 September, and never one to miss an opportunity to excite her fans, the rehearsal video features a relatively heavy look at the unheard track. Surrounded by keyboards and a drum kit, the singer can be seen going through some rather interesting lyrics, before the camera cuts to a close-up shot of her manically bashing the percussion set-up and wildly banging her head. It's all very Nine Inch Nails.
“I know you want me. You're just a pig in a human's body. Squealer, squealer, squeal out! You're so disgusting. You're just a pig inside. Swine!” She can be heard singing before she goes nuts on the cymbal and snare. It's all rather full-on and a departure from what we heard with the comeback single 'Applause,' but progress is what makes a good artist great and that seems to be what Gaga is heading for here. Frankly we can't wait for the full version now, but we have a sinking feeling that we'll have to wait until ArtPop to hear it.
Her performance at the iTunes Festival will be aired via a live stream at 9 p.m. GMT (4 p.m. EST, 1 p.m. PST) through the iTunes store, Apple TV, AirPlay or the iTunes Festival app.
