Pop star Kylie Minogue is to receive an honorary degree from a British university for her work promoting breast cancer awareness.
The Australian singer was diagnosed with the disease in 2005 and underwent chemotherapy before being told the disease is in remission.
She has since worked tirelessly to promote awareness of breast cancer, and she will be made a Doctor of Health Sciences by staff at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, England in honour of her achievements later this week (beg03Oct11).
