'A Deadly Adoption' just looks too good to miss.
A Deadly Adoption, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig's Lifetime movie that was confirmed as being scrapped by the network, is to air on June 20. Fans had assumed the homage would be a lost forever, though a billboard in Los Angeles revealed the film will be airing later this month.

The movie celebrates all the hallmarks of a Lifetime movie - low budgets, melodramatic plots and hammy acting - and it's part of the network's 25tha anniversary of making original movies. Such classics as Hostile Makeover, Acts of Obsession and Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy.

The billboard is downright hilarious - Ferrell, with extra beard, looks so...Lifetime, while Wiig is the mother with something to hide. The thriller tells the story of a couple who house a pregnant woman in the hopes of adopting her child. It co-stars Jessica Lowndes, of Beverly Hills 90210 fame.

Ferrell had initially claimed he and Wiig were scrapping the project after it was leaked to the press, issuing a statement that read: "We are deeply disappointed that our planned top secret project was made public.Kristen and I have decided it is in the best interest for everyone to forego the project entirely, and we thank Lifetime and all the people who were ready to help us make this film."

A Deadly Adoption was executive produced by Ferrell and his long-time collaborator Adam McKay. The script was penned by co-creator Andrew Steele, who co-created IFC's The Spoils of Babylon, which also starred both Ferrell and Wiig.
