Kristen Stewart's steadfast stoicism was, for many, a huge part of her appeal, but that moody demeanour seems to be fading and these days she smiles, happily gives interviews and is looking forward to motherhood. What a turnaround!
Not long ago The Grindstone was defending Kristen Stewarts right to not smile. "Kristen Stewart is a public figure and is in a very glamorous industry full of bright, bubbly women that will smile until the cows come home," it said, and acknowledged the major double standards in that expectation, "no one has once told epic brooders like Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Johnny Depp and James Franco (who barely smiled at all when he hosted The Oscars) have even been told they should smile more." But these days, Stewart is lightness and joy- even looking forward to motherhood!
According to US Weekly, Kristen said "I can't wait to be a mom, but... I can wait." "I actually quite like working with kids and I like working with animals, which everybody says you shouldn't do... Especially working with a baby is great. I would say put a baby in every scene." Kristen's media-personality change seems to coincide with her reconciliation with her current boyfriend Robert Pattinson. The couple broke up briefly after she admitted cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders. Perhaps it has finally dawned on the young Twilight actress that she's got it pretty good... although according to MSN Now, she told Marie Claire that she's "a miserable c***."
Kristen Stewart is currently starring in the final instalment of the Twighlight Saga, Breaking Dawn: Part 2. It is to be released on 16th November 2012.
