In the aftermath of her cheating scandal, it seems that Kristen Stewart has pulled out of her latest movie venture, 'Cali.' Gossip Cop confirmed the news, after a source informed them of the latest development in Stewart's very public fall from grace. The girl who was, quite recently, a media darling, suffered a dramatic change in fortune when the news emerged that she had been cheating on her Twilight co-star and long-term boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
According to Gossip Cop, it's rumoured that Amber Heard has been asked to take Kristen's part in the movie, though they're not yet sure whether or not she'll agree. Neither Heard's rep nor Stewart's were available to comment on the situation. According to imdb.com, the movie follows the story of Mya and Chris, two lovers who return to Los Angeles to save Mya's sister from an 'unsavoury group,' years after Mya disappeared from the city. Alex Pettyfer is lined up to play the role of Chris but it looks as though he'll have a new co-star in the offing, as Stewart has now pulled out of the movie, which will be directed by Nick Cassavetes. Stewart was reportedly due to be involved in the movie as a producer as well and it's currently unclear whether she intends to maintain that role or if she'll be giving that up as well.
Voltage Productions, the company behind the film, also declined the opportunity to comment on the situation, though they did say that an announcement would be made soon. That would seem to suggest that Stewart is off the cast list and we're assuming that the announcement will include details of who will take on the role? Watch this space!
