Kristen Stewart's affair with Rupert Sanders (whilst she was dating Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson) may not have been the "momentary indiscretion" that she has led everyone to believe, via her public apology. Leopold Ross, the brother of Rupert Sanders' wife, Liberty Ross, has told People magazine that he believes the affair to have been going on for some time. Stewart and Sanders worked together on the movie Snow White and the Huntsman and Leopold insists that "it was from the last half of filming and all through post-production, clear into last week."
Liberty's brother revealed that his sister was understandably angry upon hearing the news of the affair. Liberty met her husband as a teenager and left Britain in order that Rupert could build his Hollywood career. They have two children together, Skyla Lily, 7 and Tennyson, 5. "She made some sacrifices for something she thought was worth it, now she knows, right?" explained Leopold. "Five minutes from her home. Doubt it was worth it but it's life. It might actually make things better in the long run. She wasn't that happy for a while, but our family is close, she'll be all right."
Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson is reported to have moved out of the Los Angeles mansion that he shared with Kristen. Twilight producers are said to be concerned about the impact that the couple's split will have on the promotional tour for the final installment of the franchise, due to start in October. "This is a potential nightmare for all involved," a source told People.
