Kim Kardashian West is ''stressing out'' about sales of her book, 'Selfish'.

The reality TV star is ''starting to panic'' the book of selfies will be a flop as it has reportedly only sold 32,000 copies since its release in May, according to Nielsen BookScan.

A source close to the 34-year-old beauty said: ''Kim is stressing out over how poorly her book is selling, because she thought it was going to be an easy way to make big bucks. When she first presented the idea to publishers, her biggest selling points were her huge social media following and her ability to influence the masses. But now, she's starting to panic.''

Kim recently hosted an impromptu book signing with fans at her fashion boutique, Dash, in a bid to boost sales.

The insider told Star magazine: ''She posted for countless selfies. Kim really thought the book would sell itself, but she has had to put in a lot of extra work in order to advance book sales and keep the publisher happy. She's even recruited [her mother] Kris jenner and [husband] Kanye West to help her promote the book.''

A representative from the publisher Rizzoli claims the book has total trade sales of approximately 125,000 copies to date.
