'Fear The Walking Dead' showrunner David Erickson will be leaving the AMC zombie series following its third season, but can the show work without him?

'Fear The Walking Dead' has had a pretty turbulent time since its conception, slammed by some fans of original series 'The Walking Dead' as an attempt to milk the franchise for all it's worth, despite 'Fear' immediately chalking out its own unique identity.'Fear The Walking Dead' Returns Later This Year For Season 3

The story kicked off right at the start of the zombie apocalypse, following an original group of characters as they went from relatively normal family lives to survivors in a world like nobody had ever seen before.

Despite that, 'Fear' has managed to survive and, following its second season run last year it finished as the #12 show on TV within its demographic in America, according to stats from Nielsen.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children Trailer

Jake has always been an ordinary boy but when he finds himself on a small island, things begin to happen that few people would be able to explain. His new friend, a beautiful young girl named Emma seems to be able to perform miraculous occurrences start to happen.

Things become a little clearer - yet utterly more baffling - when he's taken to meet Miss Peregrine at her exceptional orphanage for children. As Jacob is quick to learn, each of Miss Peregrine's kids has a special ability, something unique to them. Emma can control oxygen and must wear hefty boots to keep her feet firmly attached to the ground, whilst Bronwyn is a little girl with incredible physical strength.

Miss Peregrine is the protector of the children and acts as their matriarch. To keep them safe she's formulated a way of manipulating time to keep the kids away from dangerous monsters who hunt them down - however, as the dark forces become stronger the Children are placed in more and more danger - unbeknownst to Jacob, perhaps he holds the key to keeping his new friends safe.

During the 52nd New York Film Festival, the world premiere for 'Gone Girl' took place. Many celebrities that appear in the film were in attendance on the red carpet, including Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Desi Collings in the new David Fincher thriller. Also photographed were Kim Dickens (who plays Detective Rhonda Boney), Patrick Fugit (Officer Jim Gilpin) and Lisa Banes (who plays Marybeth Elliott).

At Any Price Trailer

Henry Whipple is a highly respected farmer in the world of agriculture and thinks of little else other than expanding his three generation old farming land in Iowa. After watching his favourite son Grant fly the nest as a football star, he does his best to push his youngest son Dean into the family business, understanding that the empire will be lost if he doesn't take on the responsibility. However, Dean has other things on his mind; he wants to be a professional car racer and is already a champion on his local circuit. He is determined to prove his sceptical father wrong by reaching the racing heights of ARCA and NASCAR. Henry, meanwhile, faces big business troubles when his farm is investigated by GMO corn company Liberty Seeds; his whole career hangs in the balance, but he must learn that if he doesn't change the way he is, it won't be the only thing he loses.

Great Expectations (1998) Review

Weak

You know, I didn't like the book Great Expectations when I was in high school, so I don't know why anyone thought it would be liked any better now. Hawke's meddling with the story is well-documented (including changing the main character's name from Pip to Finn). Then there's the updating to the 20th century, making Pip, er, Finn an artist (and a bad one at that), Bancroft's horrific drag-queenish dance instructor. De Niro's lost expression. Ugh. I'll take the book over this.

Things Behind The Sun Review

Excellent

Allison Anders not only has enough balls to revisit one of the worst experiences of her life in Things Behind the Sun, but she travels through emotional territory normally unheard of in films based on rape -- namely a male character who is a victim and a perpetrator at the same time.

As a woman, it is always difficult to watch a movie involving rape. When filmed realistically, as Things is, it's impossible to distance yourself from the onscreen pain. And when a film is not constructed with realism the result is anger from shoddy storytelling, or with a filmmaker failing miserably to grasp the emotional honesty in a situation they can't understand.
