Former Westlife singer Kian Egan and his wife, former Hollyoaks actress, Jodi Albert have welcomed their third child into the world: a new baby boy. The stars took to their Instagram pages to make their announcement and revealed they had named their new son Cobi.

Kian, 37, and Jodi, 34, revealed their new arrival on social media and Kian wrote: 'Our little cub is finally here!', alongside a black and white snap of him cradling the newborn's foot.

Kian Egan has hit out at his former Westlife bandmate Brian McFadden and Boyzone’s Keith Duffy, who have joined together to form Boyzlife. Earlier this month the duo announced they’d be playing a series of shows in Hilton hotels across the UK and Ireland where they will perform some of their groups’ biggest hits and talk about life in a boyband.
Kian Egan has hit out at Boyzlife.
Appearing on 98FM Egan was asked what he thought of the pair’s venture. "What do I make of it all? Good luck to them,” he said. “It’s a bit of an odd one. You know, a member of Westlife who left the band after four years decides to use half the name for whatever it is that they're doing.”

Kian Egan formally of Westlife is now embarking on a solo career, having released Brian Rawling produced debut solo album 'Home' though Rhino Music on March 14th of this year. During his time in Westlife, Egan enjoyed success with the group as they brought out fourteen no.1 singles, five no.1 albums and sold out ten tours. Now he seems to be enjoying success by himself with 'Home' having reached no.9 in the UK album charts and no.2 in the Irish album charts. 'I'll Be' is the second single from 'Home' and is originally by American singer-songwriter Edwin McCain.

The Westlife singer was crowned winner of the show on Monday (9 Dec.)
Having been crowned King of the Jungle, Westlife star Kian Egan was hardly in the mood to start celebrating, as he was much more interested in getting clean and getting comfy and cosy. Speaking on ITV's Daybreak following his win, Egan described just what he got up to after being crowned jungle King, with spending quality time with his wife at the top of his post-jungle list of priorities.

"I ate… I ordered room service, jumped in the shower then spent a little bit of quality time with my wife, of course, and then room service arrived and just chilled out for an hour," Kian recalled in his interview on Tuesday, 10 December. "To sit on a comfy seat, to sit on a sofa was so nice.”
After three long weeks it came down to an all boys final, Kian Egan managed to beat fashion designer David Emanuel to become the King of the Jungle.
After three weeks in the jungle which saw 12 celebrities enter, only two remained in an all-boys final.
