Just five months after her sister Kim Kardashian was the subject of a violent armed robbery in Paris, Kendall Jenner has become the latest celebrity victim of burglars after her Hollywood home was turned over this week, with the perpetrators allegedly making off with £163,000 worth of jewellery.

The 21 year old supermodel was not at her Hollywood Hills home at the time of the burglary, which took place on Wednesday night (March 15th) in broad daylight, between midday and 8pm, according to initial reports by TMZ.

Sources say that there was no sign of forced entry to the residence, and Kendall had been home for quite a while that night before she went to her bedroom at around 1am and discovered that her jewellery was missing, upon which she decided to call the police.

The attack is apparently being viewed by police as part of a growing city-wide issue after a number of burglaries committed against celebrities over the last 12 months, including Alanis Morissette, Derek Fisher and Nicki Minaj. The hunt is on for the perpetrators, but no description has been offered.

Doubtless, this will come as a shock to Kendall’s older half-sister, Kim Kardashian, who was famously the victim of an armed robbery in her Paris apartment back in October 2016.

Masked burglars made off with several million dollars’ worth of jewellery in the early hours of October 3rd, with those responsible having apparently duped their way past security or with the aid of an insider.

36 year old Kardashian had gone off the radar of social media for a number of months before tentatively returning, and the subject is a recurrent theme of the present 13th series of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. Will Kendall’s burglary be a topic of the next one?
