In her new memoir, 'There Is No F***ing Secret: Letters From a Badass B***h', the TV host has revealed that her mother Sharon took the drastic measure to send her to the facility in a desperate bid to get her clean.

The 32-year-old star - whose father Ozzy Osbourne has battled drug and alcohol abuse issues and sex addiction - writes: ''Mum once locked me in a mental institution for three days and it scared the hell out of me ... I had to wear paper shoes, since I could potentially kill myself with a shoelace and wasn't allowed to have anything metal not even a spoon. I was suicidal by medical standards but I heard mum's message loud and clear: stop using drugs before I was gone for good.''

Sharon Osbourne has opened up about the “complete and utter breakdown” she suffered last year, which left her hospitalised. ‘The Talk’ host had to take a five week absence from the show last May and on Monday’s episode she finally felt ready to open up about what she had been going through.

Jack Osbourne has opened up about his parents Ozzy and Sharon's relationship, saying they don’t have a “picture-perfect marriage.” Speaking on Wednesday’s edition of Sway in the Morning, Jack said his parents were trying to “figure it out”, following the revelation of Ozzy’s affair earlier this year and their temporary separation.

One of MTV's most popular reality series is finally coming back. Sharon Osbourne has revealed that 'The Osbournes' will make a brief return in the form of a six to eight short episodes, though MTV will not be airing it this time around.

The family's matriarch Sharon Osbourne confirmed the re-shoot on 'The Talk' earlier this week, but insists that the show will mark more of an update in the family as opposed to an actual major series. 'At most, there will only be six to eight episodes and a catch-up on our lives and where we are now, because it's been so long since we've been seen as a family and our family has grown', she commented on the show. 'We have a granddaughter and a gorgeous daughter-in-law.'

Miley Cyrus has changed her hairstyle once again, swapping her edgy pixie crop for a ladylike bob cut complete with short bangs at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas.

The 'Wrecking Ball' singer catapulted her way into the headlines last year when she posted several step-by-step images of her long tresses getting the snip on Twitter in favour of a super short do. The look was part of her image overhaul which was preceded by a string of scandalous antics and an array of highly revealing outfits to prove that Hannah Montana is truly dead and gone. In February 2013, she even told E! News, "You will never see me with long hair again!" admitting that wearing hair extensions was 'creepy' and that it was much easier to have shorter locks.

However, it looks like the controversial popstar is going back on her word as she debuted a cute bob at the 24th Annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles on Saturday (December 7th 2013). It looked rather inspired by Vogue editor Anna Wintour though it is not clear how she has achieved the dramatic change. Perhaps her hair really has grown long enough to shape into the new style, or maybe she has once again donned a wig. One thing's for sure, it certainly looks like she's getting tired of her edgy do.

Kelly Osbourne has refused to make amends with her long-time rival Lady GaGa, despite her birthday cake offering and patching up with Kelly's mother Sharon.

The 'Fashion Police' co-host told the 'Applause' singer to 'Eat My S***' on Twitter after Gaga presented 'The X Factor' judge Sharon Osbourne with a birthday cake for Kelly, who was 29 yesterday, following her appearance on the UK TV show. On the show, Gaga explained that she and Sharon had made up having met at the London club G-A-Y the previous night.

'Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the would (sic) away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar', was Kelly O's response to Gaga's olive branch.

Lady GaGa stepped out on stage at the well-know G-A-Y nightclub in London on Saturday, 26 October, night to give a show stopping and truly memorable performance. It was memorable for two reasons really, the first one being that Gaga striped down to her birthday suit at the end of the performance, and the second being that it was the arena where her long-running feud with Sharon Osbourne finally came to an end.

The two outspoken stars kissed and made up following Gaga's explosive set at the nightclub venue, having unwittingly bumped into each other in the VIP area before hand. Osbourne was at the venue to support her recently axed X Factor contestant Shelley Smith, when unbeknownst to her, her arch nemesis Gaga showed up in the VIP area for an impromptu performance. According to Metro, the pair met up after Gaga's unannounced gig and "spent time together backstage."

Harry Styles, aka arguably the best quaffed member of One Direction, was unsurprisingly spotted at Henry Holland’s show during London Fashion Week. What is surprising however, was that when the festivities (which he spent chuckling with Nick Grimshaw in the front row) Harry chose to ditch Cara Delevingne’s W Magazine party and instead head off with Grimshaw and several other people for a pint.

Not even Miley Cyrus' friends have kept quiet about her performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs on Sunday night (25th August). The 20-year-old appeared on stage singing her summer hit 'We Can't Stop'. After twerking with human sized teddy-bears, the singer stripped down to a nude coloured bikini in order to grind against Robin Thicke. Thicke joined her on stage to sing, with her help, his single 'Blurred Lines'. Throughout Cyrus' performance with 36-year-old Thicke, she acquired a giant foam hand with which she mimed sexually explicit acts with.

From the reaction on the faces of the audience - including Will Smith and his family- they were as appalled with Cyrus' performance as we were. Cyrus' friend, Kelly Osbourne, would agree too. Osbourne co-hosted E!'s Fashion Police recap for the VMAs, she said of Cryus' performance "Miley's my friend and I love her, and I have her back no matter what, but as her friend I'm going to tell her: put your f**king tongue in your mouth. I love you, but just put your tongue in your mouth."

Matthew Mosshart, brother of The Dead Weather/The Kills lead singer Alison Mosshart, has popped the question to his girlfriend Kelly Osbourne, who is the daughter of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. Mosshart, a vegan chef-turned model, mustered up the courage to ask Kelly to marry him whilst the pair were on holiday on the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean. The couple met whilst at model Kate Moss and The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince's wedding in 2011, where Matthew's sister Alison was best woman. They tried out a distance relationship at first - Osbourne lives in L.A whilst Mosshart lived in New York, but after a year he made the decision to uproot his NY home and job to be with his love on the other side of the country - the "biggest sacrifice," according to 28-year old Kelly.

She told Hello! Magazine via Sky News that her engagement ring was inspired by her father's earring: "I used to hold my finger up to his ear when I was little and say: 'I want a ring like that'. Now I have one." In a rather romantic statement, Mosshart had admitted "I knew she was The One pretty early on," with Kelly claiming to All Voices that her boyfriend's vegan diet and positive attitude to healthy eating helped the TV personality, who has previously struggled with her weight, shedding 63 pounds last year. The pair are clearly as smitten as possible, with Kelly proclaiming "Matthew has broken down every one of my walls. There's nothing I wouldn't do in front of him."

We love a celebrity wrestle. Literally, it would be brilliant, but we more than often make do with the metaphorical. This isn’t the first time Kelly Osbourne and Lady GaGa have squared up in a battle of words, and we’re pretty sure it won’t be the last.

Osbourne, talking to Cosmopolitan Magazine (via MTV), landed a blow right on Gaga’s face. "I loved Lady Gaga,” she said. “I totally believed in everything she stood for, until I realised she's a great big hypocrite.” Woah! What’s that now? "Don't say, 'When you see bullying, intervene', while letting your fans send me death threats. If my fans did that, I would not stand for it. You can say whatever you want with your millions of monsters, I know the truth," says Kelly. "Your bells and whistles mean nothing to me. You're feeding on the freaks and geeks to further your career?” Gaga is yet to respond, but we really can’t wait for her to.

Kelly really seems to get on Gaga’s nerves; she criticised the controversial singer for snubbing the red carpet at last year’s Grammy awards, then suggested she was pregnant after thinking she was wearing maternity clothing. Gaga responded by saying she should “defend others who are bullied for their image”.

Ozzy Osbourne has admitted bingeing on drink and drugs for the last 18 months, following news that he has separated from wife Sharon. The British singer released a statement on his Facebook page, revealing that he's been in a "very dark place" and apologizing to his family.

"Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing," Osbourne, 64, said, "I'm just trying to be a better person." The lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath - who will tour in the UK later this year, said he had been drinking and taking drugs for the last year and a half though has been sober for 44 days. "I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends," added the rocker, before saying he'd behaved like "an asshole" to the people he loved the most.

Though Ozzy was one of the world's most recognizable rockers, he and his somewhat dysfunctional family gained worldwide fame after starring in their own MTV reality show 'The Osbournes,' which gave an insight into their family life in Beverly Hills. Since then, Sharon has judged and hosted numerous reality shows, Kelly has forged a career in fashion criticism, and Jack has remained on television. Ozzy has kept a relatively low profile in comparison.

Could this be the end of Sharon and Ozzy Ozbourne? Say it isn’t so. The Talk co-host was spotted moving into a brand new mansion, and just days after being seen not wearing her wedding ring, too.

"They are living at different addresses and not spending any time together," a source is quoted as saying to The Sun "They row a lot. They aren't acting like husband and wife. It is unusual to not even have dinner together when both of them are five minutes apart." Another source had plenty to say to The Mirror, too; this time about their financial woes. “The financial situation has been a real burden for them both and has put huge strain on them. These were big bills, and it has been very difficult for both of them.” There’s no shortage of clues in this supposed divorce. Their daughter Kelly tweeted: “Why does every family in the world have that 1 member that will never get it and is completely ignorant to life in general?” What does this mean!?

Kelly Osbourne has been released from hospital, after suffering a seizure last week. The reality TV star reportedly suffered the seizure whilst she was filming her show Fashion Police. It was unclear why Kelly had the seizure but she took it all in good spirits, tweeting a picture of herself in the hospital bed, with an IV in her arm. Now, E! News have reported that Miss Osbourne has been released from hospital, with no underlying cause having been found for the seizure.

“Doctors ran numerous tests and determined that this was most likely a onetime episode of which there are no conclusive results,” said her representative. “She is looking forward to returning to Fashion Police this week and getting back to business and life as usual.” They added that, after five days in hospital, the star has “has returned home and has been given a clean bill of health by her doctor.” Even whilst in hospital, Kelly kept her spirits up and kept in touch with her fans via Twitter, joking that her life had become like the TV series House: “My life is now like an episode of House = the impending fight against death and the look of fear in everyones faces!”

Kelly Osbourne is doing fine after her seizure on Thursday.

But her episode, which happened before a live studio audience, while Kelly was recording an episode of E!’s Fashion police, gave everyone around her quite the scare. Apparently, Kelly turned to her co-host Melissa Rivers and said: “I don’t feel good,” before falling to the ground and seizing. She was then rushed to a local hospital, where she remained for a while. According to Miss Osbourne herself, this is the first time she’s suffered a seizure, but what’s more worrying is that the doctors are still unable to tell what it was that caused the episode, according to TMZ. There have been no following seizures and friends Melissa and Joan Rivers, who went to see Kelly in the hospital, report that she’s “doing fine”.

Kelly Osbourne has been hospitalised after suddenly collapsing into a seizure on the set of her fashion diss show 'Fashion Police'.

The TV star was filming at the E! building on Wilshire Blvd in LA alongside her co-star Melissa Rivers before she suddenly stopped and told her, 'I don't feel good.' She then keeled over and started having violent convulsions before seemingly a member of the audience came up to administer first aid. It wasn't long before the star seemed to come round from the ordeal but she was still subsequently taken to an ambulance on a stretcher with a white sheet covering her body so as not to give away who she was. One person held up another sheet in an attempt to screen the commotion from view. According to TMZ who obtained pictures on the ambulance's arrival, Kelly has never before suffered any kind of seizure. Her co-star Joan Rivers told the publication that after seeing her, she seemed 'fine' and Kelly herself has Tweeted her fans to reassure them of her condition.

'Thank U all 4 UR beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure out why?' She wrote on her Twitter page accompanied by a photo of her heavily tattooed forearm being hooked up to a drip. Us Weekly have reported that they've been told she is 'awake, alert and in stable condition' but no other information has yet been uncovered.

Kelly Osbourne’s seizure is being looked at by doctors and she has thanked her fans for their well-wishes whilst she recovers from the incident. Osbourne was taping an episode of E!’s Fashion Police when she suffered a seizure. The reality TV star (daughter of Sharon Osbourne and rock star Ozzy Osbourne) tweeted a message to her fans saying “Thank U all 4 UR beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure out why.” The tweet was accompanied by a picture of her tattooed arm, with an IV tube inserted under the skin.

Kelly’s rep reassured E! News that the fashion TV star was doing well but added that the doctors wanted to keep an eye on her in the hope that they could explain the seizure. The rep explained that Kelly was “taken to a local hospital for further testing and is awake, alert and in stable condition” and added that she’d be “staying overnight for observation as a precautionary measure.” It's not currently clear how long Kelly will have to remain in hospital whilst doctors try to find out the cause.

Kelly Osbourne, the host of E!’s Fashion Police has been hospitalized after she experienced a seizure on set yesterday (March 7th).

The reasons behind the unfortunate incident are still unclear, but the 28-year-old star’s rep had this to say about the incident: "Kelly Osbourne fainted on the set of E!'s Fashion Police today. She was taken to a local hospital for further testing and is awake, alert and in stable condition. She will be staying overnight for observation as a precautionary measure. There are no further details at this time."

Reports of the incident say that while recording the show, Kelly first turned to her co-host Melissa Rivers to say she wasn’t feeling well, before falling off her chair and going into a violent seizure. According to The Independent, Osbourne is still recovering in hospital and her condition is stable, however no new information has been revealed about what could have caused the episode.

Sharon Osbourne found herself on the receiving end of a rather nasty surprise yesterday morning (January 17, 2013) when she accidentally set fire to her house after leaving a candle burning. As with many house fires, Sharon hadn’t fallen foul of that most basic of fire safety rules. Do not leave a candle burning when you go to sleep.

Luckily for Sharon, the Beverly Hills Fire Department were on hand to tend to the fire, which thankfully hadn’t spread too far before they reached the property at 4:45am. It’s not clear who else was in the house at the time, but Sharon had a few words of advice for TMZ’s readers, saying “Please everybody always check all the candles lit in the house before going to bed. I didn't, and at 5am this morning I was met with 5 gorgeous men from the BH Fire Department as they put out the fire in my house.” We’re guessing she wasn’t too shaken by the ordeal, if she managed to notice how good looking the firemen were. Sharon had nothing but good words to say about the local fire department and even tweeted a message of thanks, saying “I want to say Thank You to everyone at the Beverly Hills Fire Department for coming to our aid and taking such good care of us this morning.”

Hopefully, this ordeal might distract her for a short while from the feud she’s been having with Lady GaGa. Sharon stepped in to defend her daughter Kelly Osbourne, who has ben receiving insulting messages from Lady Gaga’s fans. Her recent message to Lady Gaga was “don’t let your fans be so hideously damaging, hurtful, violent, spreading violence on your website. If you are a Mother Monster, monitor it.”

Lady GaGa’s choice of a 'gun-bra' stage outfit in Vancouver on Friday (January 11, 2013) has raised a few eyebrows, in the wake of recent news stories.

Was Lady Gaga trying to make a statement by wearing the bra? It’s quite possible, although deciphering exactly what her message might be, exactly is proving a little tricky. Perhaps she was simply worried that Sharon Osbourne might be in the audience and wanted to protect herself after her recent spat with Sharon’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne.

To summarize the entire conflict: earlier during the week Lady Gaga posted an open letter, directed at Kelly Osbourne, accusing her of judging and mocking her fellow celebrities “like zoo animals”, from the platform of her E! show Fashion Police. Following Gaga’s accusation, a lot of her fans apparently snapped at Miss Osbourne (as Little Monsters have been known to do), resorting to insults and even death threats.

That was pretty harsh, to say the least, but after Momma Sharon got involved the whole thing got even uglier. Her own letter to Gaga uses descriptions like “attention seeking hypocrite” and “bully”. Ouch. It is interesting that Sharon Osbourne chose to get involved, while Kelly herself has remained remarkably composed and quiet about the whole thing, but then again, the elder Osbourne does have a lot more experience in the feuding department. It seems that things have calmed down over the weekend though, with neither party responding further. We’re not sure if we’re happy about the fragile truce or slightly disappointed, to be honest. Calm down everybody – the kickoff of celebrity feuds for the year has been postponed until further notice.

If you thought that it’s been too long into 2013 without a celebrity feud, fret not – the Osbournes are here to oblige.

According to TMZ, however, it was really Hollywood’s resident drama queen, Lady GaGa, who started this one. In an open letter to Kelly Osbourne, dated January 10th, Gaga criticized Kelly Osbourne’s work on E!’s Fashion Police, saying that “it glorifies her and Joan Rivers pointing in the camera, laughing, and making jokes about artists and celebrities as if they are zoo animals.” Too harsh? Perhaps, but Sharon Osbourne’s subsequent involvement in the “feud” certainly took it to a whole new level.

In her own response to the open letter, Kelly’s mother says that the backlash against her daughter following Gaga’s letter has been awful and has even included death threats from Mother Monster’s devoted following. Osbourne, obviously keen to step in, wrote to Gaga: "A word from you would stop all this hideous, negative and vile threats from your 'little monsters." And if you think that’s justified, the letter does go on to feature some quite personal insults: "By your actions to Kelly right now, you have shown me that you are nothing more than a publicity seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker." Gaga’s letter could have been described as mature, but this newest one by Sharon? It probably takes the whole thing into full-blown feud territory. Well, we all know the Osbourne family has some experience with those.

There are few greater pleasures than reading about celebrity feuds. The latest one is between Lady GaGa and the Osbornes. Originally, Gaga wrote an open letter from herself and her mother asking Kelly Osborne to be less critical on her fashion show on the E! Channel. Today, Kelly's mum Sharon Osborne has said she has contacted Gaga's agent and left her own open letter, addressed to Gaga, on her Facebook page. Here are a few excerpts from the letters of each:

Gaga:

"It used to make me truly sad when I would hear people talk about your weight when you were younger, as I was bullied too. To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding. Why not help others? Why not defend others who are bullied for their image and share your story? I am pointing this out not to take a crack at your character, as we've met before and you're lovely."

Oh, Kelly Osbourne. We know that life has not been easy for you, but you really need to tell your mother to let you fight your own battles. We know that she means well. We know that she does it because she cares. But really. You’re a grown-up now. It’s just embarrassing.

The latest instalment of the tiresome ‘feud’ between Lady GaGa and Kelly Osbourne (which, essentially, has been going on for year) rose up again when Kelly gave an interview with Fabulous magazine, saying that “Lady Gaga’s fans are the worst” when it comes to the abuse and criticism that she receives. “They’ve said I should kill myself, that they hope I get raped. I mean it’s crazy but I’ve had this all my life and I just try and ignore it.” Lady Gaga responded with a message on her website, an open letter to Kelly that read, in part “I have empathy for you Kelly, but I feel it culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path… Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgment… To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding.”

Now, the Osbourne matriarch has stumbled into the ring, swinging for the shape-shifting pop star who dared to attack her young Osbourne cub. “Your open letter is hypocritical and full of contradictions," wrote Sharon on her Facebook page. "And as your mother Cynthia supports you, I support my daughter Kelly." She went on to call Gaga a “bully” because she has “32 million followers hanging o [her] every word… A word from you would stop all the hideous, negative and vile threats from your ‘little monsters.’” She’s got a point, of course. Though, we don’t remember Gaga’s mum taking to Facebook to lend her support…

Kelly Osborne appeared on the US series of Dancing with the Stars. She lost 65lbs in the process and has managed to keep the weight off, a no mean feat, as all dieters will know. She's now a UK size 4-6, which is a US size of 0-4 - she's really, really tiny. However, as she revealed to Fabulous Magazine in Britain, people still torture her about her weight.

"I'm the thinnest I've ever been and the healthiest I've ever been. The totally insane thing is that I'm a UK size four to six and people still say I'm fat," she says. "I get called fat all the time. A big fat whore. Lady Gaga's fans are the worst. They've said I should kill myself, that they hope I get raped. I mean it's crazy but I've had this all my life and I just try and ignore it." 

While it is absolutely never okay to tell someone to kill themselves or wish rape upon them, Osborne hasn't helped herself with Gaga fans. Over the past few years she's criticised her for being a 'butterface', questioning whether she was pregnant when she gained a little weight and slating her for avoiding the red carpet at the Grammys. While she may be criticizing Gaga, they actually have something in common- promoting healthy attitudes to health. While Gaga calls for everyone to be happy with their shape, Osborne advocates healthy eating and exercise, which has clearly worked for her.

Kelly Osbourne is thin now and it seems that that’s enough to make national – no, scratch that – worldwide headlines.

The former reality show star and current host of E!Online’s Fashion Police has steadily and, it would seem healthily been losing weight over the past six years and is ready to reveal the results in the upcoming issue of Cosmopolitan Body. The released photos show Osbourne, sporting a skimpy two-piece swimsuit and her trademark purple hair, looking better than ever. According to Cinemablend, she credits her new physique to a steady regimen of healthy vegan food and daily exercise, but most of all to her new state of mind. The most important part of this is her sense of self respect and a healthy, fulfilling relationship with vegan chef Matthew Mosshart. It all sounds wonderful and balanced, which is more than we can say for the majority of Hollywood.

In the interview for Cosmopolitan Body, Osbourne discusses her fitness routine and diet, but she emphasizes the importance of the right state of mind over anything else. "People think I lost weight and that's what made me happier. That's not true: I had to learn to love myself first." Now there’s a great role model – purple hair and all.

Perhaps unfairly, given that it's her body and no one else's, Kelly Osbourne has been judged on her appearance ever since she was deemed old enough to be judged by such a thing. In a duality of admittance and defiance, Osbourne has shed the pounds, and has been talking about it, too. 

"People think I lost weight and that's what made me happier. That's not true: I had to learn to love myself first," the star told UK's Cosmopolitan Body magazine "Losing weight was just one benefit of putting the hard work in and sorting myself out on the inside first through therapy," Osbourne, 28, continued. "That was one of the scariest times of my life. I swear I've never felt more naked, because I had to actually be me and couldn't mask it." It's not all down to your mind set though. You can't just sit down and think about exercise, and how nice it would be to fit into a certain pair of jeans. By eating in moderation and exercising daily, Osbourne managed it well. 

"When I started exercising I couldn't even do one sit-up," Osbourne said. "By the end of the first week I could do three, and that was a big deal. Now I work out every day and I just don't feel good if I miss it. It's amazing how quickly your fitness builds, but you have to really want it."

Yes, while Miley Cyrus was winning attention on the stage, with The Sun reporting that she covered Billy Idol's 'Rebel Yell', off stage her conservative look was largely overlooked.
