Kelly Clarkson has been forced to cancel six tour dates.
Clarkson has had to pull out of two shows in Vienna, Virginia, one in Tampa Florida and another in West Palm Beach as well as ones in Raleigh, North Carolina and in Camden, New Jersey. The shows were scheduled to take place this week and continue into the next.
Writing on Twitter Clarkson said, 'So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice! I can't wait to get healthy and see y'all back on the road soon.’
‘I hate cancelling......and I am truly sorry to my fans that have been excited to see this show. Please know that I never cancel anything unless it's absolutely necessary,’ the ‘Invincible' singer added.
Last month Clarkson announced on stage that she was pregnant with her second child. Clarkson told fans during her concert at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, “I wasn't planning on announcing this. I'm totally pregnant. This is not how I wanted to announce [that I'm pregnant],”
”My makeup artist is backstage hating me. I didn't want you to think I'm on pills or something," the singer added. Clarkson already has a one year old daughter, River Rose, with husband Brandon Blackstock.
