Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and Faith Margaret Kidman Urban - Australian actress known for her roles in films such as "Moulin Rouge" and "The Others" Nicole Kidman spotted out with husband Keith Urban and their daughters at Los Angeles International airport - Los Angeles, California, United States - Tuesday 23rd September 2014
The Australian country music singer's Saturday night concert ended with 22 concert-goers getting submitted into hospital for mainly alcohol-related reasons.
For many concertgoers, Keith Urban's Saturday night (July 26th) show in Mansfield, Massachusetts, didn't go as planned as they finished the evening receiving medical treatment after consuming too much alcohol.
Urban is currently on his Raise 'Em Up tour
Over 40 fans were allegedly treatment by medical staff after becoming ill from mostly alcohol-related reasons, and a further 22 individuals were hospitalized in the town's local medical centre, which is around 25 miles south of Boston.

Is there a Sing Along of the Year Award? This video should probably win.
No, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman aren’t headed for a divorce – in fact, they couldn’t be farther from the thought. In case you needed further proof that the pair are adorable and still in love, the couple visited a children’s hospital in Australia on Friday and sang a heartwarming duet of Amazing Grace.
Nicole Kidman still has the voice, in case you were wondering
Urban, a true man of country, brought his guitar on their visit to Monash Children’s Hospital, while Kidman showed off her impressive pipes. She joined in with her husband, making it into a rather endearling duet. By the end of the song, the musical pair had the entire room singing along.
The contestants couldn't come to an agreement on this week's results night.
With five contestants left, it was time for a slight rule change. Did the producers lift that idea from The Hunger Games? We may never know. Anyway, the new rules stated that the five remaining contestants were allowed to either axe the finalist with the lowest votes or keep him/her, but face a tougher contest next week.
This week's lowest votes went to Sam Woolf.
The American Country Music (ACM) Awards took place on Sunday (6th April) in Las Vegas. Amongst the winners were Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and George Strait. Keith Urban also won two awards for his collaborative efforts with Lambert and Tim McGraw.
The American Country Music Awards were held on Sunday in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban won the most awards, two and three respectively, whilst nominees and fan favourites Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton lost out on numerous awards each.

Lambert was struggling to hold her awards at the American Country Music Awards on Sunday (6th April). The singer won three of the large trophies and posed somewhat awkwardly but happily in the press room. The 30-year-old took home the most awards after she won Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year alongside Keith Urban. Urban was a secretive runner up with two awards as, not only did he collaborate with Lambert for Vocal event, but he also featured (alongside Taylor Swift) in Tim Mcgraw's 'Highway Don't Care' which won Video of the Year.

This year's ACM awards featured a number of familiar faces, as well as some unexpected controversy.
Miranda Lambert is definitely the country music industry’s darling at the moment and Sunday night’s ACM music awards helped to cement her status. Lambert took home three of the biggest awards in the genre, including her fifth title for Female Vocalist of the Year – a record win for the songstress. In this category, she topped the likes of Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves and Sheryl Crow.

L'Wren Scott's sister has a list of complaints concerning the handling of the late fashion designers funeral and is claiming Mick Jagger "hijacked" the event.
L'Wren Scott's sister has claimed the funeral of the late fashion designer was "hijacked" by Mick Jagger and turned into a "media circus". The funeral, which took place on Monday (24th March), was attended by numerous celebrities but few of Scott's relatives.
Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott were together for 13 years.

Jennifer Lopez, whilst critiquing a performance on Wednesday's 'American Idol', shocked - and amused - viewers by accidently dropping the F-bomb on live television.
Jennifer Lopez was evidently mortified on Wednesday evening after dropping the F-bomb on live TV. Lopez was judging American Idol and got carried away when commenting on one of the contestant's performances.
Jennifer Lopez accidently swore whilst judging American Idol live on air.

Results night was once again, mostly uneventful.
And then there were ten. Ten American Idol finalists, that is. It’s getting to be that time in the competition, when the hearts of the remaining Idol hopefuls just don’t seem to be in it (at least for now). If you've somehowe managed to avoid spoilers thus far, be warned: SPOILERS BELOW, So, so many of them. It came as no surprise when the bottom three – terrible word choice, by the way – was named as: Sam Wolfe, Ben Briley and Majesty Rose. And the winner, pardon, loser is… Ben Briley.
Sorry Ben, much like a Katherine Heigl movie, it just wasn't meant to be.
Briley’s name coming up wasn’t really a surprise after his performance during Wednesday movie night. Passing off Bennie and the Jets as a Song from the Cinema was more than a bit of a stretch. Yes, it was featured on the 27 Dresses soundtrack, but come on! In any case, the judges didn’t buy it and neither did the audience.

Some of the contestants tripped up on "songs that remind them of home", but there were some real gems in there too.
It’s down to the Top 12 on American Idol and things are getting real. The theme last night was songs that remind the finalists of their hometowns, so there was plenty of variety in genres and singing styles last night.

Jenna Irene kicked things off with a well-praised cover of Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall which reminded her of road trips with her mom and brother. The judges praised her unique take on the song, but Harry Connick Jr. “wanted more”.

Host Ryan Seacrest provided the names of the top 10 singers from the voters for American Idol on Thursday.
American Idol fans in attendance for the live episode shouted out their favorite singers to Seacrest as he named the finalists that will move on. The host jokingly stated, "Sounds like we're playing `The Price Is Right' here."
The top ten American Idol contestants chosen by American voters were:

Don't cry out loud - Harry Connick Jr.'s opening words must have made the contestants quite anxious.
American Idol is just about to get good – this week finally ends the auditions round and the final 30 are revealed. First-time judge Harry Connick Jr. opened with a sobering message to the remaining constestants – don’t cry out loud. Connick told Idol hopefuls to stay calm, only he put it differently: "This is show business… suck it up," he told them.
Harry Connick Jr. began by giving contestants some harsh, but honest advice.
Then he and his fellow judges proceeded to whittle down the contestants to the final lineup, which includes the show’s very first openly gay participant in the outspoken MK Nobilette. Took them long enough. Anyway, here are some highlights from the night. Emily Piriz kicked things off behind the piano with "Stars" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, which earned her cheers from the audience, as well as judges Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez. Jillian Jensen, who might be familiar from her unsuccessful X Factor run, made it through auditions as well. Tuba player Malaya Watson provided some much needed quirkiness and also made the cut, as did Jess Meuse, beating Jesse Roach in a tense sing-off.

The show's future is looking bleak.
American Idol is back with an updated judging panel, yet again. This season sees the return of Jennifer Lopez – one of the most popular judges in Idol history – as well as a new face, Harry Connick Jr. The show kicked off on January 15th, but you’d be forgiven for missing it – most US viewers did. Despite the updated panel, which producers hoped would breathe new life into the franchise, Season 13 has so far been the lowest rated one. 20th Century Fox COO Chase Carey spoke about Idol’s flaws to a crowd of Wall Street analysts on Thursday. The message was pretty clear – despite the renovations, American Idol’s glory days are in the past.
Even favorite judge Jennifer Lopez can't save this sinking ship.
The Fox chief operating officer told analysts on Thursday that the decision to bring back Jennifer Lopez as a judge and add Harry Connick Jr to the mix had resulted in a show that was “much better than it was a year ago”, but one that is also showing its age (quotes via The Hollywood Reporter).

The week of 'American Idol' overload continues.
Last night saw the second part of the American Idol season 13 premiere, only this evening the auditions continued in Austin and San Francisco. The previous episode's auditions had been fairly uneventful in terms of drama but Part 2 was where it started to get interesting.
The Judges Began To Show Their Real Personalities In The 'American Idol' Premiere.
After complaining that none of the contestants knew who he was, singer and actor-turned Idol judge Harry Connick Jr. decided to ensure that they would at least never forget him. Harry's no-nonsense style of judging takes the panel on a departure from the more sympathetic style of judging seen on Idol seasons of late and more of a return to the stereotypical Simon Cowell-esque strain of talent show nasty.
The talent show gets real after last season's plummeting ratings.
American Idol is now back and focussing on the only thing that really matters on the talent show: the contestants. The last season of the singing talent contest saw ratings in freefall as viewers bored with judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey's bickering turned elsewhere, giving Idol its lowest ever ratings.
The Judges & Ryan Seacrest: New Season Means Back To Business.
As Idol's viewing figures plummeted, rival show The Voice loomed nearby ready to dominate. Of course, the producers and even judges themselves weren't blind to what was happening therefore decided to give the panel and format a revamp in time for the current season 13.

The surviving Beatles will perform at the ceremony and fans are hoping the two will join each other on stage for a reunion performance
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are set to perform at this years 56th Grammy Awards, with their inclusion to the Grammys set list being announced this week by the music awards showcase. Although the organisers for the event have revealed that the pair will perform, they have yet to specify whether the two will appear on stage together at all, a prospect that most are hoping for.
Paul and Ringo will hopefully be performing together
The pair were announced as two of the latest confirmed acts to appear at the awards show, with fellow performers John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Sara Bareilles and Carole King also added to the bill.
Rumour has it, this year's finale will be held in the Big Apple for the first time.
American Idol's 13th season could be held in New York City, if there's any truth to the rumours currently flying around. The upcoming new season of the singing talent contest is preparing for launch but has beefed up its usual format and streamlined its panel of judges.
Season 12's Contestants Before They Were Whittled Away.
Apparently, plans are in place to have the final contestants battle it out on stage at the city's prestigious Madison Square Gardens in front of a giant arena audience of 8,000, according to THR. De-camping from L.A to NYC would represent a major move for the show, which has seen a decline in ratings to rival show The Voice in recent years.
The hit talent show will be back for a 13th season next week, with a new judging panel and a potential change of venue on the way too
American Idol will be back for its thirteenth season on Tuesday, 14 January, with an (almost) entirely new judging panel holding down the reins for the long-running singing contest. Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. aren't the only new things to come out of the latest season of Idol either, as the new season may also mark the move from West to East Coast for the show.
Keith Urban and J-Lo are returning to the judge's seats
According to various reports, with The Hollywood Reporter first generating the rumours, American Idol will dig up it's Los Angeles-based root and make the journey across country for the eventual final. After twelve years in the City of Angels, the show may be moving to the newly refurbished Madison Square Garden in New York City for its conclusive episodes, with the last two instalments of the thirteenth season scheduled for 20 and 21 May.

Blake Shelton was the big winner of the night, but veteran George Strait took home the top honour
The Country Music Association Awards lit up the Nashville nighttime on Wednesday, 6 November, as 'Country Music's Biggest Night' went off with a bang at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Aired live on ABC last night, the hosts for the evening were once again the ever-reliable Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, who oversaw some memorable moments over the course of the night.

Leading the nominations pack for the 47th annual awards was rising star Kacey Musgraves, who led with six nominations in total. Right behind, with five nominations, was Miranda Lambert, but it was her husband Blake Shelton who finished the night as the biggest winner, taking home two gongs during the ceremony. Officially, it was Taylor Swift who went home with the most awards, although her wins for the Music Event of the Year (shared with Tim Mcgraw and Keith Urban) and the sought-after Pinnacle Award had already being revealed prior to the awards show. She also won (again, sharing with McGraw and Urban) for Music Video of the Year for 'Highway Don't Care.'
