Katie Price has defended her decision to allow nine-year-old daughter Princess and 11-year-old son Junior to have Instagram accounts. Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, Price said she was in full control of her children’s accounts and that both are now being booked for modelling and TV jobs.

“I am in no way a bad parent – I’ve got five beautiful, healthy, loving and well-mannered children,” she told her fellow panelists. “My kids have been brought up in the industry, everyone knows who they are."

“Now they’re being booked themselves, for TV shows, modelling jobs. Social media is the future – I wont allow them on Facebook, Snapchat or Twitter.” Price explained that Princess and Junior’s friends all have Instagram accounts and she had been telling them ‘no’ for ages.

But now they are on the photo sharing site, Price says she has full control of both their accounts. “I said look this is the deal – ‘if you want to be on Instagram I have your passwords and you go on when I’m next to you,’” she said.

“I sign them in I sign them out before I give it to them I vet everything and block people who are being nasty.” Price added that her children are now making money and being on social media is business. “They’ve made a lot of money,” she said. “They get booked for work – it’s like a business.”
