Jealousy is a dangerous emotion. Tessa (Katherine Heigl) thought she had a chance to get her ex-husband David (Geoff Stults) back and finally be a family again with their daughter Lily (Isabella Rice), but then he met the sweet and beautiful Julia (Rosario Dawson) who he obviosly fell hopelessly in love with and subsequently married. She's the polar opposite of Tessa, and as understanding as she tries to be towards the latter, it doesn't stop Tessa plotting to destroy their happy home life. She thinks Julia has stolen her world and plans to get revenge by delving into her dark past life and raising doubts about her to David. Things come to a head when a man dies, and Julia is the one with blood on her hands.

Sarah Shahi was set to star as the detective in the series, which would follow the character now in her 30s.
Iconic female detective Nancy Drew will not be coming back to television, at least on CBS. The network has passed on pilot ‘Drew’, which featured a modern reboot of the character, played by Sarah Shahi, after reportedly finding that the show had tested ‘too female’.
Sarah Shahi stars as Nancy Drew in crime drama ‘Drew’.
The pilot was one of many the network had been deliberating between and it came from former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ showrunners Joan Rater and Tony Phelan. According to Deadline, bosses at CBS took extra time to deliberate between ‘Drew’ and Rater and Phelan’s other drama pilot ‘Doubt’, with the latter ultimately getting the green light.

The 35 year-old actress expresses regret at the 'Grey's Anatomy' creator's negative opinion of her, and aims to lose her reputation of being rude and difficult to work with.
Like most Hollywood stars, Katherine Heigl is faced with her fair share of criticism, and this isn't helped by her reputation of being hard to work with behind the scenes. But the 35-year-old actress is now wanting to build bridges with anyone she has wrongly crossed - especially Shonda Rhimes.
Heigl wants to lose her reuptation of being rude and difficult to work with
During a recent interview with Mario Lopez, Heigl expressed regret for making bad impression on Rhimes, who created 'Grey's Anatomy,' and admits it "sucks" that she was associated with "nasty people."
Katherine Heigl has dropped a $6 million lawsuit against US drug store giant Duane Reade. The actress filed the suit in April after she discovered the company had used a paparazzi image of her on their social media.
Katherine Heigl has dropped her lawsuit against drug store giant Duane Reade. The suit was filed in April but Heigl dropped the suit on Wednesday (27th August). The company has reportedly donated an undisclosed amount to the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation.

While promoting her new NBC series 'State of Affairs,' the 35 year-old actress was probed on if she is hard to work with. "I certainly don't see myself as being difficult and I don't intend to be difficult," she replied.
In a very awkward moment, Katherine Heigl was forced to address speculation that she is a difficult actress to work with.
The 35 year-old actress previously starred in 'Grey's Anatomy' for several years before finding success in popular movies such as 'Knocked up,' 'The Ugly Truth' and 'New Year's Eve.'
But now Heigl is making a return to the small-screen.
The network faces major changes this year.
NBC just unveiled it’s fall TV schedule, announcing a big change. The network is scaling back its long-running Thursday comedy. Instead, the network is putting all its chips (or most of them anyway) on its breakout hit The Blacklist. The drama will premiere in the advertiser-friendly post-Super Bowl slot next season and then move to 9PM on Thursday.
James Spader stars in The Blacklist.
The network is completely revamping the rest of its weekly lineup as well, with seven new comedies and dramas and two miniseries premiering in the 2014/2015 season. Stand-out dramas include the return of former Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl to prime-time in the thriller State of Affairs (which will receive the coveted post-The Voice slot on Monday nights beginning Nov. 17) and supernatural DC Comics thriller Constantine (filling Friday night along with Grimm). Marry Me, a new comedy by Happy Endings creator David Caspe, will get a boost from The Voice on Tuesdays, while Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which stars The Office‘s Ellie Kemper, will debut in midseason. In addition, there’s NBC’s event series, which includes its Heroes reboot Heroes: Reborn and Mark Burnett’s follow-up to hisThe Bible miniseries, A.D.

Katherine Heigl is suing New York pharmacy Duane Reade $6m for tweeting an image of her near their store. Does she have a case?
It’s not exactly a secret that Katherine Heigl doesn’t have the best reputation in Hollywood. With rumors of her diva-ish antics on set, her once promising Hollywood career has recently plateaued. Heigl regularly has two cents to put in about, well, pretty much everything. So we weren’t surprised to hear that she’s unhappy about something again. Although this time we can’t decide whether she’s got a point or not. We’ll lay out the facts and you can help us decide.
Heigl is renowned for acting like a diva
After discovering that New York pharmacy Duane Reade had used an unauthorised image of Heigl in their ad campaign, the actress has decided to sue the company for $6m. The photograph in question was taken while Heigl was filming her new television series (not a movie, a television series, she’s back on television, we repeat, she’s back on television) and a pap snapped her leaving the pharmacy.

The usual suspects become Oscar contenders, smaller movies fill out multiplexes, Captain America co-stars Jackson and Cooper trail their upcoming legal thriller, The Nut Job promises laughs, and Woody Allen pimps out John Turturro...
After the glamour of the essentially irrelevant Golden Globes on Sunday, the biggest movie news this week was the Oscar nominations announcement on Wednesday. As expected, 12 Years a Slave and Gravity got another big awards-season boost, while American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club and Nebraska move into pole position, bumping Inside Llewyn Davis and The Wolf of Wall Street out of the spotlight. For now. For those who need to catch up on these titles click here for 12 Years a Slave, Gravity, American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club, Nebraska, Inside Llewyn Davis and The Wolf of Wall Street.
Awards contenders continue to dominate cinema screens in both America and Britain, although distributors are sneaking smaller films in as alternative programming. In the US, audiences can catch the high school comedy G.B.F. or the British period romance Summer in February, while in the UK offbeat options include Michael Cera in the Chilean road trip Crystal Fairy and the cheeky Penn & Teller documentary Tim's Vermeer. To read our reviews click here for G.B.F., Summer in February, Crystal Fairy and Penn & Teller documentary Tim's Vermeer.
'The Nut Job' is the latest animated in the many animated films released each year, but according to critics, this one is lackluster at best.
In the age of Disney — back when only one, or less, animated films were released each year — they had better be good. But these days, when everything can be done electronically and studios are pressured into releasing numerous films each year, the quality may be going down.

Katherine Heigl helped her friend and former 'Grey's Anatomy' co-star T.R. Knight to celebrate his wedding on Friday (4th October).
T.R. Knight, the former Grey's Anatomy star who played Dr George O'Malley, wed his long term partner on Friday (4th October). Knight had been with his partner Patrick for over three years before tying the knot last week.
T.R. Knight married his partner of three years on Friday.
Amongst those attending the wedding was Knight's former Grey's Anatomy co-star Katherine Heigl. Heigl added a number of photographs to Twitter, one where she shows off her red lace dress and matching lipstick; another where she jokes about in a photo booth with her husband, Josh Kelley. The red dress look was completed by the "disenchanted fashionista look" the two women adopted for the occasion.
Surly is an aptly named, grumpy and uncompassionate squirrel who's desperate to go to any lengths to store enough food for the coming winter. As he struggles to forage for nourishment in the city, he meets the rest of the neighbourhood's fauna including an excitable street rat, a fat mole and some simple-minded gophers - all of whom agree to accompany him on a major heist; the robbery of Maury's Nut Store which is guarded by a highly slobbery bulldog. The store is haven of all the kinds of nuts Surly could ever wish for and offers him an extended period of food stability. Along the way, though, he must learn what it is to work as a team and know the importance of the people around him before his temper pushes his friends away for good.

Eddie Murphy has topped one of Forbes magazine's annual lists for 2012, though unfortunately for him, it details the world's most overpaid actors. The actor - who was reportedly commanding $20 million a movie around the turn of the millennium - returns just $2.30 for every $1 he is paid for each of his films.
The stats make Murphy the most overpaid actor in Hollywood, with recent flops including Meet Dave, Imagine That and comedy Tower Heist concreting his No.1 spot. The latter was the most successful of Murphy's recent flicks though it still only earned $152 million on a $75 million budget. The Beverly Hills Cop star can probably take solace in the fact that he returns SOME amount of money for investors, with 2011's most overpaid Hollywood star Drew Barrymore bringing in just 40 cents for every $1 she was paid. Murphy could claw himself out of the list in the next couple of years, with one movie in particular already generating hype. Murphy has signed on to star in Ivan Reitman's comedy Triplets, a sequel of the classic Twins, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito. The film revisits both of the original characters Julius and Vincent as they discover they have a third sibling, played by Murphy. Even if the movie was a critical dud, Triplets would almost certainly do good business at the box-office.
Elsewhere on this year's most overpaid actors list, Katherine Heigl placed at No.2 after returning just $3.40 for every $1 she was paid for her movies. After past commercial hits including Knocked Up, Heigl has appeared in a couple of romantic-comedy bombs such as One For The Money, which took just $37 million. Reese Witherspoon was in at No.3 with $3.90 for every $1 paid, while Nicolas Cage brought in $6 for every $1.

Don and Ellie have been divorced for a long time but when their adopted son Alejandro and his fiancé Missy decide to get married, it looks to be time for a family reunion. If things weren't awkward enough with Ellie seeing that her best friend Bebe from years ago is now married to her ex-husband, Alejandro's biological mother has also decided to fly over from Columbia for the occasion. However, she happens to be an extremely devout catholic with the belief that divorce is a sin so the family's only resolution to appease her and make her feel that giving away her son was the right decision is for Don and Ellie to pretend that they are still married on the big day, to Bebe's resentment. As expected, things are not as straight forward as they planned and the days leading up to the nuptials couldn't possibly be more tense and disastrous for this unusual family.
This ridiculous though rather touching comedy has been based on the French movie 'Mon Frère Se Marie' written by Jean-Stéphane Bron and Karine Sudan and is the wonderful story of how broken families can mend or, at least, unite for their mutual relatives when it is a matter of importance. It has been directed and written by Justin Zackham ('Going Greek', 'The Bucket List') and is set to be released on May 31st 2013 in the UK.
Starring: Robert De Niro, Susan Sarandon, Diane Keaton, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, Robin Williams, Ben Barnes, Megan Ketch, Greg Paul, Christa Campbell, David Rasche, Christine Ebersole, Kyle Bornheimer,
As the countdown to 2012 begins, an executive (Swank) is frazzled about a technical glitch in the iconic Time's Square ball-drop. Caffeine follows a series of odd events during the lunch rush at the Black Cat Café, where one disaster after another is served up as the day's "blue plate special." For example, the cook (Callum Blue) is fired by the manager, Rachel (Marsha Thomason), after she finds out he's been unfaithful to her. Rachel has no one else qualified to cook, so she throws the chef's hat to a server named Tom (Mark Pellegrino), who can't even make lasagna from a written recipe. But Rachel has no other choices. Her two other employees, Vanessa (Mena Suvari) and Dylan (Breckin Meyer) spend more time on smoke breaks then they do serving coffee.
