PRIVATE PRACTICE star Kate Walsh has stepped up her legal battle with a U.S. talent agency, filing papers accusing her former representatives of "fraud".
The actress is currently fighting accusations from Innovative Artists that she owes the company fees relating to her role in the hit medical drama.
Walsh denies the claims and insists her former management team at the firm were not involved in landing her the part in 2007.
She has now brought her own action against Innovative Artists, according to her lawyer, Marty Singer.
He tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "(Walsh) has brought claims against (Innovative) for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, among other claims. (The company's contract) was terminated several years prior to (Walsh landing her role in) Private Practice.
"It is not uncommon that when an actor becomes a major television star, new representation is obtained."
