Kate Middleton has undergone a secret confirmation ceremony in London as she prepares to marry British royal Prince William.
The 29 year old was confirmed into the Church of England in the privacy of St James's Palace last month (Mar11) after a number of meetings with the Bishop of London, the Right Reverand Richard Chartres, who will be part of the 29 April (11) nuptials.
Middleton was baptised as a child but never became a full member of the Anglican Church and a spokesperson for St James's Palace revealed the highly-secret ceremony was all part of the royal wedding plans: "Catherine, who was already baptised, decided to be confirmed as part of her marriage preparations".
Prince William will become Supreme Governor of the Church of England when he eventually ascends to the throne.
