Following the release of their sixth studio album 'For Crying Out Loud', which reached number one in the UK, Kasabian drop the video for their song 'Ill Ray (The King)'. It's the first track from the record, and the video stars 'Game of Thrones' actress Lena Headey and Michael Socha from 'This Is England'.
Directed by Dan Cadan, the video sees Lena's character performing some sort of witchcraft ritual to raise Richard III (Michael's character) from his grave - that is, the Leicester city council car park where his remains were found during an archaeological excavation in 2012. She takes him for a day out in the city, but he eventually crumbles to dust and bone come the evening.
The album, produced by frontman Sergio Pizzorno, is the first record of this indie four-piece to have a Parental Advisory label, and it's been described as sounding like an early Oasis album.
