Kanye West’s mid-concert interludes are usually a fun time, but his Australian gig was just plain awkward for a couple of handicapped fans. Now we’re sure ‘Ye didn’t mean to humiliate the two fans when he requested that the entire audience stand up for his next song. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what he did.

When Kanye announced: “I can’t do this song…until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s–t.. ‘Imma see you if you ain’t standing up, believe me, I’m very good at that,” there were a couple of objections.

According to the Daily Mail’s recap of events, one attendee waved his prosthetic limb and got out of the sing along, with Kanye responding: “Ok, you fine!”

He didn’t go easy on another handicapped fan though. When the wheelchair user didn’t stand up, Kanye, who couldn’t see the wheelchair from the stage, remarked: “This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable.”

According to the Mail, several fans tried to explain the situation to Kanye, but the rapper just dug himself deeper into that hole by asking his bodyguard to check on the situation. Only after West’s man had confirmed that the man was indeed handicapped did the rapper relent.
