Justin Timberlake has claimed that he was forced to cancel last night show in New York's Madison Square Garden due to "health reasons" but did not disclose the exact reason why he would not be able to perform. "Hey NY. There is never an easy way to do this... Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight's show to Friday due to health reasons," the pop singer tweeted.

Whatever Justin was suffering from must have been temporary because tonight's '20/20 Experience' show is still scheduled, along with an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night. Tickets for Wednesday's show will be honored on Friday night according to the venue.

Timberlake is in the middle of a world tour for his best-selling 2013 albums The 20/20 Experience Parts 1 and 2. The next six months will see him bring his legendary and constantly sold out live shows to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and throughout North America.

In order to avoid disappointing the legion of fans who had been waiting excitedly for his New York experience, the star said that the 19th's show had been rescheduled for Friday (21st). "I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight. It kills me to have to do this. I hope to see you all on Friday. -JT" he wrote.

Justin's already busy Friday night schedule will mean that he may have to skip his usually very strict pre-show rituals, which include a no-talking rule, two hours of meditation and hanging upside down to get his circulation going, according to the Daily Mail.

It has been speculated, though not confirmed, that the show's delay could have something to do with Justin's marriage to actress Jessica Biel and whether they're thinking about having children together. Whatever it is, let's hope he's back on top form soon!
