Many fans are still unconvinced by this change of direction.
Justin Timberlake might be from Memphis, Tennessee, but he's made a career out of the pop industry that has been very much apart from his country roots. This year, however, he plans to return to his origins with a new musical direction on his new album 'Man of the Woods'.

The 36-year-old 'Can't Stop The Feeling' hitmaker has decided to strip down his sound for a more country vibe on his upcoming fifth album, while still maintaining a large team of producers such as Pharrell Williams, The Neptunes, Timbaland and Danja, of course.

He's ready to show his face at the biggest sporting event of the year again.
It has finally been confirmed that Justin Timberlake will be next year's headliner at the all-important Super Bowl halftime show, performing thirteen years after his last appearance which resulted in a major wardrobe malfunction controversy with Janet Jackson. Let's hope there will be fewer slip-ups for 2018.

The 36-year-old 10-time Grammy winner and Academy Award nominee will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl LII halftime show for the second time in his life; this time as the headliner at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Last year saw Lady Gaga take to the stage as the headliner at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, which she has since recounted as a momentous event in her singing career.

They joined each other on stage at the Pilgrimage Music Festival last week.
Justin Timberlake embraced his country roots again by bringing special guest Chris Stapleton onto the stage at the Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival in Tennessee over the weekend for a few duets, two years after they hit the CMA stage together. Chris' wife Morgane was also in attendance.

As the cherry on top of a very delicious cake, Justin invited country stars Chris Stapleton and Morgane Hayes to sing along with him during his home state set at the Pilgrimage Music Festival in Franklin on Saturday (September 23rd 2017) - an event that the singer co-produces in its third year running.

The 'Happy' singer performed with The Roots as he joined the likes of Justin Timberlake and Ariana Grande at the University of Virginia's Scott Stadium, where hometown heroes The Dave Matthews Band headlined an emotional show.
During his hit-filled set - which included the songs 'Freedom', 'Happy' and his Daft Punk collaboration 'Get Lucky' - the star made reference to Donald Trump's condemnation of NFL players kneeling during the national anthem.

He's the mystery popstar who provided guest vocals.
Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters has opened up about their mystery collaborator on their forthcoming album 'Concrete And Gold'. Having previously teased that it was a huge popstar, he has finally admitted that Justin Timberlake lent his vocals to one track on the new record.
Foo Fighters to release new album 'Concrete and Gold'
The 36-year-old singer didn't have more lyrics than 'la la la' on the title track, but the collaboration came about when he was hanging out with the band in between recording sessions at L.A.'s EastWest studios. It was really a last minute decision for the group.

Almost pathologically buoyant, this brightly colourful animated comedy is so cheeky that it's impossible to dislike. The plot may be thin, and the wackiness a bit too full-on, but every moment is packed with smart verbal and visual jokes. This rapid-fire energy keeps us laughing all the way through, while the lively song score has us humming along and wishing we could get up there and dance.
It's set in a garish fantasy world in which sweetly happy trolls are locked in a mortal battle with gloomy bergen who think the only way they can achieve happiness is to eat a troll. It's been 20 years since the trolls escaped to form a secret forest community, so they throw a party to celebrate. Led by Princess Poppy (Anna Kendrick), the festivities feature so much music, glitter and hugging that the bergen's Chef (Christine Baranski) spots their location. The paranoid troll Branch (Justin Timberlake) had warned that this might happen, and sure enough Chef sweeps in and grabs a handful of trolls to take back to bergen King Gristle (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). Feeling responsible, Poppy sets out on a quest to rescue them, and Branch grudgingly accompanies her. They also get help from the lovelorn bergen scullery maid Bridget (Zooey Deschanel).
There isn't a moment in this story that carries even a hint of actual suspense, but the action scenes are still exhilaratingly madcap, and the darker moments along the way generate proper emotion. Thankfully, the lesson is so painfully obvious (you don't need to eat a troll to be happy!) that the filmmakers don't bother hammering it in. Instead, they fill every scene with deranged wit, ridiculous gags and lively character detail.

The couple became parents to son, Silas Randall Timberlake in April.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have stepped out for the first time since welcoming son Silas Randall back in April. The proud parents were honoured with the ‘Inspiration Award’ at the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network's Respect Awards on Friday evening, where Timberlake admitted they’re ‘not very good’ at parenting yet.

Collecting the award Timberlake said, "My beautiful wife and I are a couple of new parents. We're not very good at it yet.” The couple rarely make red carpet appearances together, but the arrival of baby Silas means their nights out are getting fewer and fewer.
The singer was inducted at a ceremony on Saturday evening, and promptly hogged the stage for nearly half an hour giving an emotional acceptance speech.
Justin Timberlake delivered an emotional – and rather lengthy – acceptance speech at the Memphis Music Hall of Fame at the weekend, as he reacted jubilantly to being inducted.
The former ‘NSYNC star stood on stage for just under half an hour thanking friends, family and fans and cracking jokes. On Saturday night (October 17th), 34 year old Timberlake was inducted into the Hall of Fame in the city he grew up in. After an introduction to the stage by his friend Jimmy Fallon, he choked back the tears as he acknowledged those who had helped him on his way to success.

The singer, actor and heartthrob will take a turn in the new animated musical, Trolls
There were created in the 1960s, came back out for a period of time in the 1970s and 1990s and have consequently delighted many a former child with their colourful hair and funny faces. Troll dolls were the must-have for a lot of children back in the day, whether you had a full-size doll or a small stick-on-the-end-of-your-pencil kind. Now they’re making yet another comeback - but this time in the form of Justin Timberlake.
He might not look much like a troll yet but Justin Timberlake will nevertheless appear in new musical movie, Trolls
That’s right, JT will be lending his voice to new animated musical comedy, Trolls, and will play survivalist Branch, who has been described as hiding "his surprising true colours".

The duet even managed to eclipse guest spots by Selena Gomez and Justin Timberlake during the fifth of her five nights at the Staples Center.
Taylor Swift ended her five-night run at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Wednesday night by inviting yet another clutch of guest stars onstage to perform with her – including ‘Friends’ actress Lisa Kudrow for a totally awesome rendition of ‘Smelly Cat’. Yes, really.
Swifty may have also invited A-lister BFF Selena Gomez on stage as well as Justin Timberlake, but the evening was unquestionably stolen by Phoebe Buffay, at last getting her big break at the massive L.A. arena. It did really happen, if you want to check out this amazing fan video on Twitter, with the crowd joining in to help belt out the classic ditty.

We interrupt your Monday to bring you ADORABLE BABY PICTURES.
As a general rule, all babies are adorable, but not all babies get their first pictures published on twenty different news outlets. Then again, Silas Randall Timberlake isn’t just any baby – he’s the progeny of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, which makes him super adorable and super over-exposed.
Just when you thought this family could not get any cuter.
The couple posted the first snap of the baby themselves, instead of taking the “sell to People for a few million” route. The picture shows Jessica Biel holding little Silas, who is all decked out in his teeny tiny Memphis Grizzlies jersey. He’s sporting what we’ll call the “sleepy yawning smush” face. It’s all kinds of adorable.

Taylor Swift lands dream duet with Madonna, and Rihanna stuns in vibrant Versace.
The 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards saw some pretty epic moments this weekend, and some of the most hotly anticipated performances of the year. The top prize of 2015 iHeartRadio Innovator Award went to Justin Timberlake, but he wasn't the biggest winner of the night...
Apart from winning three accolades - for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Lyrics - Taylor Swift was winning in many other ways. She's been gushing to everyone who'll listen recently about Queen of Pop Madonna apparently praising her music in an interview, but the 'Blank Space' singer landed the chance to perform with her idol as she and her guitar joined the diva on stage for a rendition of Madonna's new single 'Ghosttown', taken from recently released thirteenth album 'Rebel Heart'.
The 34-year-old singer and his pregnant wife are quickly becoming the most adorable couple in showbiz.

A 90s kid's dream Valentine's - the guys of N Sync and The Backstreet Boys, all in one show.
Guys. N Sync reunion. It happened. As with most classic pop culture moments, it happened during an episode of SNL. And the Backstreet Boys were there too. It wasn’t a coincidence either, as Valentine’s Day marked SNL’s 40th anniversary episode, so they had to make it a bit more special.
Who even needs a Valentine, when you've got the full line-up of N Sync together again.
The N Sync guys tweeted about their appearance earlier in the day, from their official account: "'Together again...Gee, it's good to be together again' #SNL40.”
