Justin Bieber, the 17-year-old teen sensation idolised by millions, caused a stir on a recent flight between Los Angeles and Asia, refusing to sign an autograph for the plane's captain. According to Fox News, who claim Justin is gaining a reputation for being "Hollywood's biggest brat", the singer's behaviour stunned fellow travellers.
After boarding the flight with his entourage, Justin first refused to cooperate with flight staff when they asked him to take his seat in preparation for take-off. An eyewitness seated close to the star said, "He then gave the staff a really hard time the whole flight, nobody could believe it.And then at the end, the Captain introduced himself to Justin and kindly asked for an autograph, and he rudely refused". Representatives for Bieber and American Airlines chose not to comment on the incident. It's not the first time the 17-year-old has been criticised for his behaviour. Earlier this year, Csi star Marg Helgenberger told French radio show 'Le Grand Direct' the singer was "kind of a brat" whilst he filmed his guest appearance on the programme, adding, "He locked one of the producers in a closet. And he put his fist through a cake that was on the craft services table".
Despite the incidents, Bieber remains one of the best-loved stars in Hollywood and anticipation is already growing for his second studio album, scheduled for release in 2012.
