British actress Julie Walters feels "honoured" Susan Boyle has tipped her for the lead in her biopic because she is a huge fan of the Scottish singer.
The Britain's Got Talent sensation is working on plans for a movie detailing her rise to fame, and in October (12) she named the Mamma Mia! star as her top casting choice.
Boyle said, "We are in the middle of negotiations just now for a film about my life. There's only one person I'd love to play me - and that's Julie Walters. She would do the job and you just know she would do my story justice."
Walters is happy with the endorsement from Boyle, but reveals movie bosses have yet to get in touch with an official offer.
She tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I'm really honoured, because I'm massively touched by her and she's got a gorgeous voice. Nobody has actually asked me to do it, just yet."
