The Three 6 Mafia star alerted fans to his operation on Friday (08May15), when he shared a photo of his hospital bed on Instagram.com alongside the caption, "Getting ready to have ankle surgery this is my bed".

He stopped short of revealing the exact nature of the injury, but updated fans later in the day to assure them all went well.

Flashing the peace sign from his hospital bed, he wrote, "We made it! Thank god & thank you for your prayers".
