DAME Judi Dench is furious with MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS director Stephen Frears because the day she spent rowing up and down the River Thames has been cut down to a two minute sequence in the film.
The beloved British actress was most uncomfortable trying to navigate the river which runs through London in high heels and a fur coat for the period film and now she's upset her efforts didn't merit more time in the movie.
She says, "That day was 30 takes on the River Thames with the Leander Rowing Club rowing by. To time it all took forever, the whole day.
"I was so cross when I saw the film because it was only two minutes long and I thought, 'How dare you Stephen Frears, when it was 30 takes?'"
