Colombian pop star Juanes has cancelled an upcoming Miami, Florida show after realising it falls on the 50th anniversary of the Bay of Pigs invasion.
The singer was reportedly horrified when aides told him of the importance of the 15 April (11) gig at the American Airlines Arena.
A source tells the Associated Press Juanes didn't realise it was the anniversary when he booked the concert.
A new date will be announced.
In April, 1961 Cuban exiles launched an attempt to overthrow the new government of Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro. The incident became known as the Bay of Pigs invasion.
