Joss Stone – or the “corrupt she-devil,” should the defendants be believed – was subject to plans of decapitation-via Samurai sword and dumping in the river, it has been reported by The Independent.

Junior Bradshaw and Kevin Liverpool - according to prosecutor Simon Morgan - researched the singer online before choosing her as their intended target. They then set off for mid-Devon, to Stone’s address, armed with a Samurai sword, knives, bags and in a Fiat Punto. They allegedly targeted the soul singer because of her wealth, and what they perceived to be a link to the royal family, after she was a guest at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. Opening the case at Exeter Crown Court, Morgan QC told the jury: “This case is about a decision by a group of individuals, of which these defendants are two, to rob and kill Joss Stone. They got a car, they collected their weapons of choice, and they made their way from Manchester to a short distance from Joss Stone’s house."

The pair allegedly collected information of Stone’s house - near Cullompton off the M5 – after she appeared on the MTV show Cribs, in which she showed off her less than humble abode. They also, again allegedly, asked a postman where she lived, showing him a photo of Joss in order to narrow it down. Bradshaw, 32, and Liverpool, 35, deny charges of conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to rob, in 2011.
