@ElisaSDavis Hey thanks!
The New York premier for 'The Imitation Game' saw celebrities fall upon the Ziegfeld Theatre in droves, amongst them were 'Game of Thrones'' Charles Dance, as well as Matthew Goode and wife Sophie Dymoke.
Warning! Warning! Warning! Major spoiler alert.
It’s no secret that fans of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ weren't exactly overjoyed at how the series ended. After following the love life of Ted Moseby for nine years viewers, couldn’t help but feel a little cheated when it was revealed that the ‘mother’ had already died and Ted was about to end up with Robin again after all. But now a video claiming to be the 'alternative ending' to the series has leaked online, ahead of the release of 'How I Met Your Mother: The Whole Story, Seasons 1-9' DVD box set.
'How I Met Your Mother' ended earlier this year after nine seasons
Now, here’s another spoiler alert, in this ending Tracy (the mother) doesn't die from a terminal illness, instead she remains happily married to Ted, while Robin and Barney also stay together. This 'alternative' ending features no unseen footage, instead it just wraps things up in a much happier manner with narration provided by Bob Saget.
Meg Ryan has taken on her first major prime-time TV role.
Meg Ryan could be headed for a career revival with her latest gig – narrating theHow I Met Your Mother spinoff,How I Met Your Dad.It’s been a while since theYou’ve Got Mail star has worked on a high-profile project, but her recently announced role as “Future Sally“ might give her the needed career boost. According to TV Guide, Ryan has been tasked with voicing the future version of Greta Gerwig’s character on How I Met Your Mother, corresponding to Bob Saget’s Future Ted – the older version of Josh Radnor’s character.
Could this signal the revival of Meg Ryan's career?
According to previous announcement, How I Met Your Dad will correspond with the story of the original, but told from the perspective of the mother. It will mostly be a separate story, crossing over into How I Met Your Mother territory at key points. The pilot, which has yet to receive a series order, follows Sally's search for the father of her children. Like Saget, Ryan’s character will never be seen on screen.

The popular CBS sitcom aired its finale, hour-long episode last Monday (31st March) to some of its highest ratings but faced a backlash after upwards of 16,000 viewers signed a petition demanding for an alternate ending.
Furious 'HIMYM' Fans Have Ralled Against The Show's Creators After Finale Disappointment.
The show ended with a twist last week after the "Mother" turned out to be Robin (Cobie Smulders) instead of the character, played by Cristin Milioti, fans had been led to believe was the mother. The episode saw Ted Mosby played by Josh Radnor coming together with his longtime friend Robin Scherbatsky, despite Robin having married Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) in the penultimate episode.
'How I Met Your Mother' finally ends tonight, after nine years. Is it one of the best shows of all time?
We promised ourselves that we wouldn’t cry, but we don’t think it’s a promise we’ll be able to keep! The thing is, tonight, after 9 years on the television, the final ever episode of How I Met Your Mother will be aired. And we’re pretty terrified about how it’s all going to turn out.
The HIMYM cast were chosen perfectly
The show has become one of the best loved series of all time, with an enthusiastic fan base who we’re sure will be devastated to see it come to an end. But how has HIMYM become so successful and how does it fare up against other well-loved ensemble cast shows?

There are some very dark corners in this cheeky comedy, which explores relationships and sexuality in unusually realistic ways. But filmmaker Jill Soloway doesn't offer easy answers, forcing her characters to sort out a messy situation on their own. And it's refreshing that we are left to find the message ourselves.
The story centres on stay-at-home mum Rachel (Kathryn Hahn), raising her young son Logan (Sawyer Ever) while her husband Jeff (Josh Radnor) is a hotshot app-creator. But this domestic set-up hasn't helped their sex life, so Rachel goes to a strip club with her pal Stephanie (Jessica St. Clair) for some inspiration. There she meets lap dancer McKenna (Juno Temple), and later contrives to become her friend, eventually inviting her to live in their spare room and work as a nanny to Logan. But of course Jeff is freaked out to have a stripper in the house.
After terrific supporting parts in everything from Revolutionary Road to Wanderlust, Hahn steps into a lead role like a natural. She holds the film together effortlessly, giving Rachel a loose complexity that makes her likeable even when she does something stupid. Her chats with her therapist (a hilarious Jane Lynch) help show how her life hasn't gone as expected, and the way she reaches out to this stripper feels intriguingly uncharacteristic and potentially perilous, but also edgy and invigorating. Opposite her, Temple is wonderfully free-spirited and unpredictable.

'How I Met Your Mother' is approaching its conclusion.
Some questions were answered on this week's How I Met Your Mother and plenty more were asked. Will Marshall and Lily pick up and leave for Italy. Will Robin and Barney finally get married? Now that the viewers know who the mother is, will the writing team be cruel enough to kill her off? And the most important one: why should we still care about these characters?
Alyson Hanningan Is As Loveable As Ever
Not that the cast aren't worth watching for - Alyson Hannigan and NPH are just as lovable as ever, while Cobie Smulders' Robin continues to kick all kinds of tail. But judging by last night's episode and the few before it, it looks like the writing team is just about ready to pack it in.

[Spoilers and more spoilers] Fans are abuzz with conspiracies after last night's 'HIMYM' episode.
Last night's How I Met Your Mother episode has sent fans into a slightly panicky frenzy as the sitcom winds to a possible close. Viewers were brought ten years into the future to a restaurant scene where Ted and the Mother were sharing old stories. Ted revealed that Robin's mother attended her wedding after all, to which the Mother replied that this shouldn't really have been a surprise for the gang: "What mother is going to miss her daughter's wedding?"
Josh Radnor's Ted Hinted During The Latest 'HIMYM' Episode That The Mother Could Be Dead.
Ted is in tears when recollecting the scene which caused a theory that has been circulating fan forums for some time to surface yet again; that the Mother dies in the future and that's why Ted started telling this nine year-long tale to his kids. Again, this theory could be a red herring, designed by the show's creators to make fans think that the Mother dies.
