Has humanity been left to defend itself against the ruthless Decepticons now that Optimus Prime has vacated the planet? It may seem that way, but the Autobot leader is still relatively close by, seeking his own mission to uncover the secrets of his origins. Father and daughter Cade (Mark Wahlberg) and Tessa Yeager are surviving as best they can under the protection of the few Autobots that remain, but Megatron is on the warpath reducing the planet to rubble and wiping out every human that stands in the way of his domination. There's a hopeless, apocalyptic mood running through this new story, because the war between man and machine will no doubt continue to wage until one of both races are extinct. However, there may be, at least, another hero who can save Earth from total ruin.
With the few remaining Autobots in hiding, the world is a dark place. Galvatron is still at large and Optimus Prime has left earth to fulfil a bigger mission, having gone to seek out the Creators. Having previously helped the Autobots, Cade Yeager is still in danger and the war between man and machine is reaching ever higher levels.
The Decepticons still have a wish to invade and take over the planet Earth and now it looks like they might be in the best position to do so. Why do these machines have such a fascination with our planet and how many genuine Autobots are left to help fight alongside humans?
The soundtrack to the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight is a re-working of Flaming Lips single 'Do You Realize' recorded by Ursine Vulpine.
‘Misconduct’ managed to make just £97 during its limited UK release.
With 12 Oscar nominations between them, you would think that any film which boasts Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins among its cast would be a sure fire success. But sadly this wasn't the case for thriller Misconduct, which manage to take less than £100 during its opening weekend at the UK box office.
Al Pacino stars in Misconduct.
Alongside Pacino and Hopkins, the film also stars Josh Duhamel and Julia Stiles. It follows an ambitious lawyer (Duhamel) who finds himself caught between a corrupt pharmaceutical executive and his firm's senior partner (Hopkins and Pacino). As the case takes a deadly turn, lawyer Ben must search to uncover the truth before he loses everything.

The singer uploaded a pic of the little cutie on to her Instagram page earlier this week
Fergie gave birth to hers and husband Josh Duhamel's first child together last month, on 29 August, and after a period of relative silence from the new parents as they adjust to their dramatically different lifestyle, Fergie has been kind enough to share a photo of little Axl Jack for the first time. The Black Eyed Peas singer posted an Instagram photo of her new baby boy rocking a pair headphones on Tuesday, 17 September, after he'd passed an ear exam.
"Hearing test complete. All systems go," she captioned her Instagram snap, with her husband Josh following up her initial image with one of his own. He added on Twitter, "#paparazziyoucanleaveourhousenow."

The Black Eyed Peas singer and her actor husband welcomed their first child together on Thursday (29 August)
Fergie is a mum at last, and Josh Duhamel a dad, as the singer gave birth to the couple's first child together this week. The new mother gave birth on Thursday, 29 August, at a Los Angeles hospital in the middle of the day, having arrived the Cedars Sinai Medical Center earlier that morning. Congratulations to the both of them!
Josh Duhamel & Fergie became parents this week
The news of her birth was first revealed by TMZ, who also reported that the Black Eyed Peas singer (born Stacy Ferguson) gave birth via C-section and arrived at the hospital with her husband just as planned. The two had apparently been prepping for the big day for a while and arrived at their V.I.P. maternity suite thoroughly prepared for the child-birth and a stay at hospital after. The baby also reportedly arrived right on time too, coming just as doctors had predicted.

Josh Duhamel just made the best movie of his career. Well done, Josh Duhamel.
Poor old Josh Duhamel. He's the Hollywood hunk husband of Stacy Ferguson with a credits list that ranges from average to truly and inexplicably awful. But there's a light at the end of the tunnel for old Josh, it's called Scenic Route.
Duhamel's past few years in film haven't been good to him. Actually, they've probably been rather good to him financially, with a slurry of fluffy rom-coms and bad comedies ripped apart by critics, though guzzled down by the cinema-going masses. There was Safe Haven, with Julianne Hough. There was Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Or how about Movie 43?
The latter was a film that Mark Kermode commented, "[To say Movie 43] wasn't funny was a staggering understatement. But much worse it was something far creepier than not funny, it was a film that actually made you suspect there was a conspiracy involved to get all these people in this movie," adding, "The problem wasn't reviewing it, the problem was simply how to describe it without overstepping the lines of taste and decency." There was also New Year's Eve, Life As We Know It and others.

The Kids Choice Awards had a lot of predictable honorees, but they livened things up with a bit of goop every once in a while.
The Kids Choice Awards happened last night and they came with a whole lot of the traditional sliming.
Whether you go home with one of the blimp-shaped trophies or not, everyone’s a winner at the KCA, as long as they manage to avoid the sliming – which most of the A-list attendees didn’t do, as you might imagine. The first person to get a face full of the green goop was none other than rapper Pitbull himself, after he and Christina Aguilera opened the show with their song “Feel This Moment” along with a gang of mini-Me backup dancers. The performance went without a hitch, if you don’t count Aguilera sneakily sliming her co-star at the end of the show.
Johnny Depp and Kristen Stewart were among those honoured with an award – for favorite movie actor and favorite movie actress/female butt-kicker respectively. Remarkably, both of them managed a narrow escape from the sliming (well, almost). When accepting her award, Kristen commented: "Dude, I was too much of a coward to accept this," she exclaimed from the stage at the University of Southern California's Galen Center.

Josh Duhamel and Fergie are eagerly expecting their first baby, but neither one is stressing too much.
Mom-to-be Fergie is preparing to have her baby soon.
But she’s not preparing all that hard apparently. "I have no idea what I'm doing!" she said on Thursday's Good Morning America. "I'm just going to play it by ear and see how things go, and let the natural instincts kick in." And there’s nothing wrong with that. Our generation’s parents winged it and we turned out ok in the end, right? *twitches*
But Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel seem to have a pretty firm (if a bit hippy dippy) grip on the situation. The former Black Eyed Pea is taking care of herself. "I've been doing acupuncture, which really helps with that [morning sickness], and Chinese herbs," Fergie, 37, said. Meanwhile, hubby Josh has been… talking to the baby. Yeah. "I’ve had full conversations with the baby already,” Duhamel told People. Well, that shows they’re involved, right? The Fergalicious singer made the baby announcement over a month ago on February 18th, tweeting: "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump" as Duhamel tweeted a similar message.

Fire With Fire will be out on March 8th in UK theatres.
Taken and its wildly successful sequel have paved the way for revenge thrillers. Fire With Fire is the latest in this trend and with an impressive cast including stars Bruce Willis, Josh Duhamel and Rosario Dawson, one would hope it will prove to be a rip-roaring ride of suspense and intense action.
The story follows Jeremy, a firefighter who, through a stroke of terrible luck, witnesses the murder of a boy and his father in a store committed by an Ayran crime mob boss through apparently racial motives. Jeremy identifies Hagan, the man who committed the murders, in a lineup but Hagan lets Jeremy know that he knows exactly who he is by reciting his name, address and social security number. In the run up to the trial Jeremy needs to change his name and enter a witness protection programme when he begins a romantic relationship with a member of the police force. It all goes belly up though and he ends up saying words very similar to those heard in Taken, "I'm gonna find you, I'm gonna kill you.... to hell with witness protection, you're gonna need protection from me."

Ah, Valentine’s Weekend. That thing that doesn’t actually exist because there’s only actually one day that’s officially attributed to Valentine’s Day but it does exist in the world of the movie box office. It’s the weekend for people who were too stingy to take their partners out of actual Valentine’s Day, because all of the prices are inflated, to schlep over to the local movie theatre, with a rose between their teeth for no good reason and treat their loved one to a terrible, terrible movie.
That’s right. Normally, we like to give our readers a few tips and pointers with regards to the upcoming box office releases for the forthcoming weekend, make a few recommendations, etc etc. Well, this week, can we simply suggest that you stay home? What we appear to have on our hands this week is the biggest collection of cinematic flops since as far back as we can remember. Or at least since last Valentine’s Weekend.
First up, if you’re still interested in learning which films you should not go to see this weekend, is Safe Haven. A woozy adaptation of yet another Nicholas Sparks novel. Yes, we loved The Notebook. Yes, OK, we admit, what we mean is we loved Ryan Gosling in The Notebook. And yes, we suppose that Zac Efron did a pretty good job in The Lucky One. But it takes more than a pretty couple (Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough) to make a successful adaptation of one of Sparks’ ever-popular tear-jerk romance novels.

It’s Valentine’s Day. You need to choose a movie to take your loved one to go see at the local theatre. It’s 2013. You pretty much have a choice between the latest Bruce Willis blockbuster A Good Day To Die Hard, or Safe Haven, the latest Nicholas Sparks novel adaptation (starring Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel). Now then. You’d be forgiven for thinking that this would be an astute choice, based on past successes, with the Ryan Gosling-starring The Notebook and the Zac Efron / Taylor Schilling love drama The Lucky One. You would, however, be wrong.
Condemned by the majority of critics that have seen the latest tear-jerker from director Lasse Hallstrom (of Chocolat fame), Safe Haven doesn’t pack quite the emotional punch that it promises. A sorry case of style over substance, it seems that two beautiful lead actors do not a successful movie make. Betsy Sharkey of Los Angeles Times described the movie as being “Long on beauty shots, short on depth,” whilst Claudia Puig of USA Today offers some sage advice for anyone looking to make a last minute theatre booking today (February 14, 2013): “Safe Haven may not be the most dangerous place to spend Valentine's Day - but it's hardly a worthwhile romantic choice.” Chicago Sun-Times was far less forgiving in his unsentimental summary, writing “Either the filmmakers were out of their minds, or they must think we're out of our minds to buy into this schmaltz.

Julianne Hough caused a stir at the New York premiere of her latest movie Safe Haven, by opting for a dress-over-pants look, possibly inspired by a similar ensemble sported by Emma Watson not so long ago. 24 year-old Hough wore a grey dress, embroidered with flowers and with a white, 1960s-style collar, over grey trousers and with shiny silver heels.

Julianne Hough, the Hollywood actress and dancer, has revealed how she was physically and mentally abused during a five-year scholarship in London when just 10-years-old. Hough - the girlfriend of media mogul Ryan Seacrest - told Cosmopolitan magazine that her time at the Italia Conti Academy of the Arts turned into a nightmare after she had made the long journey from Utah.
"I was abused, mentally, physically, everything," she explained, adding that it got worse "when I started hitting puberty, when I started becoming a woman and stopped being a little girl." The 24-year-old, who recently rode out Superstorm Sandy in a New York hotel room, said, "I was told if I ever went back to the United States, three things were going to happen. One: I was going to amount to nothing. Two: I was going to work at Whataburger. And three: I was going to end up a slut. So, it was like, I can't go back. I have to be this person."
Of course, Hough returned to her native USA and rose to become one of the most popular dancers in the country. In recent years, she's made high profile movie appearances (Footloose, Rock of Ages) and stars opposite Josh Duhamel in Safe Haven, a new romance that hits cinemas on Valentine's Day.
Just quite how widespread abuse is never fails to be both surprising and sadenning, so Julianne Hough's confessions to Cosmopolitan Magazine have been truly shocking to the nation.
The young star who appeared on Dancing With the Stars in 2007, and is about to appear in Safe Haven alongside Josh Duhamel (Transformers trilogy), a movie that deals with strikingly similar issues to those she has faced for real.
When she was 10 Hough was sent to a dance school, London's prestigious Italia Conti Academy of the Arts, having won a five year scholarship. "I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer," she says. "I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy facade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl. I wanted so much love."
