The 25-year-old singer recently admitted she "mentally, physically and spiritually" in a better place nearly three months after splitting with Jason Derulo.
It has been a little over three months since Jordin Sparks went through a very public break-up with her love of three years Jason Derulo, and the 'American Idol' singer is already the happiest she has been in a long time.
Sparks is very happy staying single
Even though the pair's separation was surrounded by rumours that claimed Derulo cheated on her with model Carmen Ortega, Sparks recently told People magazine she is very content in being single, and is in no rush to jump into another relationship.
"I'm pretty much dating myself, who am I kidding?!" she said. "I'm not ready to deal with all that [dating]."
She added, "I don't have time for distractions or people who are going to waste my time. But I'm in a really good place. Mentally, physically, spiritually - I'm in the best place I've been in years!"
So when she is ready to find love again, will Sparks turn to popular dating sites such as Tinder? "Oh my gosh, never in a million years!" she said. "If you see a profile on there, it's not me."
However, the 25-year-old singer hasn't ruled out all social sites to find a new man. "I'm a big football fan, so if I Tweet about a football player, everybody assumes we're dating!," she added. "I guess for somebody in my position, something like Twitter is kind of like an online dating site. Not that I'm doing that! But when it comes, I could try it..."
For anyone who is trying to catch the eye of Sparks, she isn't as picky as you may think. "I'm pretty much equal-opportunity: black, white, brown, yellow, I don't care," the singer joked. "As long as you've got a good job, it really doesn't matter what you do. You can do construction, you can play sports, you can be a musician..."
