The Jungle Book is still on top of the US box office chart this week, taking an estimated $42.4 million over the weekend. It marks the third week Jon Favreau’s remake has spent on top of the US chart and it’s now grossed over $684.8 million worldwide.

The Jungle Book was also the only movie to take a double digit figure over the weekend, with the other box office numbers paling in comparison. The movie only managed to fall 30 percent from the previous weekend, bringing it’s domestic total to over $252 million.

In second place was last week’s number two The Huntsman: Winter’s War, which took $9,390 million, to bring its domestic total to $34 million. Not too far behind was new entry Keanu which made $9,350 million in its opening weekend. The action comedy features Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele alongside a cat named Iglesias.

In fourth place was another new entry, Mother’s Day, directed by Garry Marshall. The ensemble rom-com features plenty of star-power including Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis, but it still opened to just over $8 million.

Failing to make the top ten was the weekend’s third new release animated adventure Ratchet & Clank, which landed at number seven, earring $4,820 million. Based on the video game of the same name, the film features the voices of Paul Giamatti, John Goodman, Bella Thorne and Sylvester Stallone.
