Singer John Mayer is donating a portion of proceeds from his upcoming tour to U.S. military veterans.
For every show on the upcoming trek, Mayer is auctioning off front-row tickets and the chance to meet him, to raise money for former servicemen and women.
The Daughters hitmaker will also sell a block of third-row seats at a premium price to benefit the Northern California Institute of Research and Education, which helps war veterans deal with trauma and reintegrate into civilian life.
Mayer's U.S. tour, his first in two years, kicks off on 9 April (12) and stops in 18 cities before it wraps up in May (12).
The auction will take place on eBay.com.
