John Mayer Has Ended His Longrunning Dispute With A Respected Watch Dealer After Accepting He Wasn't Duped By Timepieces He Was Sold.
The singer/songwriter, who is an avid timepiece collector, claimed Bob Maron sold the singer Rolex watches with counterfeit parts in 2007 - and in a lawsuit, the Daughters star insisted his dealer knew the expensive collectables weren't entirely for real.
But now Mayer has dismissed his lawsuit following a lengthy investigation.
A joint statement from Mayer and Maron reads: "Two years of research restored John Mayer's belief that Bob Maron is an expert on Rolex watches, and confirmed that Bob Maron never sold him a counterfeit watch."
Maron also supplies watches to another famous collector - Charlie Sheen.
