One of the stages at Britain's Isle of Wight festival was marred by problems over the weekend (10-12Jun11), with John Lydon complaining about sound issues during his set and overcrowding temporarily halting Chase and Status' show.
Rock bands including the Foo Fighters, Kasabian, and Kings of Leon headlined the main stage at the three-day music event, but Lydon, who was performing with his band Public Image Limited, endured a tough time as he played in the Big Top tent on Sunday (12Jun11).
The Sex Pistols star was left fuming when sound issues disrupted his set and he reportedly stormed off stage to complain to technicians. He was allegedly heard raging,"I can't hear a f**king thing," before briefly disappearing.
Lydon wasn't the only star to suffer problems on the stage - electro duo Chase and Status were forced to briefly halt their gig on Saturday night (11Jun11) for approximately 10 minutes due to overcrowding.
One fan suffered an asthma attack in the crush, while another fell unconscious as crowds surged into the venue.
