Simon Cowell still hasn't completed the line-up for this year's X Factor series but according to People magazine, Jessie J is top of his list for potential judges. Jessie is currently starring as a mentor on the rival UK talent show The Voice, alongside Tom Jones, Danny O'Donaghue and Will.I.AM but that will pose no problem for Cowell, who plans to poach her from the Bbc to join his Itv series later this year.
Speaking about the 'Price tag' singer, Simon Cowell said "I love that girl. She's one of the best things to come out of British music in years. I want to snap her up." He would allegedly offer her a whopping 400,000 pound more than the 200,000 she currently receives and a source close to Cowell told The People newspaper, "He wants her and he will do anything to make sure she is his." They adding that "he knows it could be a tough battle but it is one that he is determined to win." A Bbc insider said that the publicly funded network "wouldn't look kindly" on any attempt on Cowell's part to steal her away from them. If he was successful, though, it wouldn't be the first time that Simon has upset the Bbc by stealing their celebrities. He has already pilfered Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon, to appear on Britain's Got Talent.
Last weekend, Simon Cowell found himself receiving a fright when he discovered an intruder in his house. The "over-zealous fan" had smashed a bathroom window whilst the music mogul was watching TV in his bedroom.
