Jessica Chastain was seen outside Santa Monica's 30th annual Independent Spirit Awards, as she posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans. The Independent Spirit Awards are a chance to celebrate the work of independent filmmakers, and takes place on 21st February 2015, on the day before the Academy Awards.
Chastain was nominated for the Best Supporting Female award for 'A Most Violent Year', although she lost the award to Patricia Arquette for 'Boyhood'. Arquette then won the same category at the Academy Awards on the following day.
