It’s been on the cards. Seinfeld did an AMA on Reddit in which he hinted at a secret project with Larry David – another one of the brains behind the phenomenal success of 90s sitcom, Seinfeld. Then he was pictured talking to Jason Alexander outside the iconic Tom’s Café, NYC.

Jerry SeinfeldWhat the hell is going on Jerry Seinfeld?

Seinfeld was in the mood for answering questions when he appeared on WFAN’s “Boomer & Carton” show. Usually so tight-lipped, it’s hard to imagine he had any other intention of whetting the public’s appetite for a Seinfeld-esque return.

The show was more than a hit when it aired. It was watched by millions-upon-millions of people during its initial run, and now is enjoyed by many more through reruns and DVD boxset sales. It was a phenomenon, proving hilarity could be derived without the use of foul language and crude content. That’s not to say he didn’t hint at those things, though.

So here’s what we know:

It’s “not not those things,” (either Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee or an advert). “It’s a secret project.” Larry David was involved – he wasn’t on camera, his voice wasn’t heard. We’ll see whatever this is, “very soon”. It’s a one-and-done project, and it’s longer than 60 seconds. Jason Alexander played George, his character from Seinfeld. It was shot in more locations than just the coffee shop.

There you have it folks, that’s all anyone really knows about this mysterious new Seinfeld project. The scientist of comedy has been busy writing in his Manhattan office and filming episodes for his latest project, Comedians in Cards Getting Coffee. We’re sure whatever the big surprise is, everyone will be gripped.
