Jennifer Lopez says dieting and working out are part of her job.

The 'Booty' hitmaker insists she has to work really hard to stay in tiptop shape, but believes it's her duty to look her best because she's a Hollywood star.

The 44-year-old beauty said: ''You got to work out, you got to watch what you eat. It's a job - you've got to buckle down.''

She added: ''I'm not an exercise fanatic. I don't love it, but I do dance a lot for the shows, so that helps.''

The singer - who has six-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her third ex-husband Marc Anthony - recently lost 10 pounds by following a strict vegan diet and the Tracy Anderson Method, ahead of the release of her new album, 'A.K.A.'

She told Us Weekly magazine: ''I feel great mentally and physically.''

The newly single star, who recently called off her relationship with Casper Smart after two-and-a-half-years together, previously admitted she struggles to stay motivated in the gym.

Last month, she said: ''I do have a healthy breakfast and try to fit in a workout when I can. I'm in fight mode right now because I have so many shows coming up, I'm trying to be healthy.

''It's so not easy. I hate it just like anybody else. It's not fun. You do it because you want to feel good and it does make you feel good after you do it.''
