Jennifer Lawrence is determined to imitate her idol Jodie Foster's down-to-earth attitude as she rises through the ranks of Hollywood after meeting several famous "weirdos".
The beauty is fast becoming one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation, and is bracing herself for superstardom when the big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' teen thriller The Hunger Games hits cinemas later this month (Mar12).
But since shooting to fame, Lawrence has been left aghast by a number of celebrities who have "gone off the deep end" due to their notoriety - and she's determined to follow in the footsteps of her The Beaver director Foster.
She tells Britain's Stella magazine, "I've met so many weirdos. So many famous people who've gone off the deep end, I was getting worried. Thinking, 'Will I be the same?'
"Jodie gave me hope because she's not only sweet and nice and great, she's also the most normal and down-to-earth person. It's like she has no idea that she's famous. I remember looking at her and thinking, 'Thank God! It can happen!"
